1. Take care of your personal presentation, even though you will not be face to face, it is
important to maintain an interview presentation. Choose neutral colors and avoid very flashy
prints, accessories or accessories, preferably wear a long-sleeved blouse or shirt, well-groomed
nails (light tones), short hair for men and preferably brushed hair and discreet makeup for
women.
2. DO NOT conduct the interview from your cell phone, there is a greater chance that it will be
interrupted by a call or message. Make use of the computer, verify that you have a good internet
connection.
3. Download the program that they tell you ahead of time and look for your interviewer's
username before starting, send them the request beforehand.
4. Test the sound and the focus that your camera is going to have, avoid it facing corridors or
places where there is a lot of mobility. Make sure the interview location is free of distractions
and reflects a suitable setting, preferably containing a blank or neutral background (wall). Before
you start, check the angle of the light to avoid being in shadow and check that you don't appear
too pale or bright.
5. Wait for your interviewer to call you, if after 5 minutes they have not communicated, write a
message informing that you are waiting.
6. Take an interest in your interviewer, take small pauses after answering the questions, smile
and show fluency in communication. Look at the camera, rather than at your image on the
screen, this will help you give the impression that you are looking into the interviewer's eyes.
Maintain an upright posture and a certain distance from the camera so that your interviewer can
see your face and part of your torso.
7. Be discreet when reading your notes or notes. Notes can be useful during an interview (start
and end dates of contracts, percentages, utilities, etc.) but be sure to review them in a subtle
way. If you speak unspontaneously, you will disrupt the natural flow of the conversation, and
you may come across as unprepared.
8. Be clear about your achievements, mention percentages and indicators of challenges and
compliance.
9. Answer your interviewer's questions taking into account the STAR (situation, task, action and
result) avoid being too detailed and expansive, allow your interlocutor to want to go deeper,
generate curiosity.
