Displaying numbers 1 to 10 and counting the displayed rectangle-shaped
objects on the screen simultaneously using a PowerPoint presentation. Ask
kids questions like, “Can someone raise their hand if you can tell me what
number this is?” and “Can you count how many rectangle shapes you see?”

Engage in a quick board game, a matching activity, or an identification

activity that can assist them in consistently recognizing the number 10.

Independent/group activities 20/25 minutes:

Tell the children that today’s activities will be counting numbers 1 to 10.
Activity can be divided into two different groups.

Group 1: Caterpillar fingerprint counting – let the kids put the number of
fingerprints next to each caterpillar's face using paint to complete the body.
Printed material will be provided.
