(10 min) Ask sts to open their book on page 10 and take a look
at the conversation and images. Tell sts that schools usually
organize field trips and write it on the dashboard. Ask them
what field trips they went to at school and validate their
answers.
(10 min) ACT. 1 Ask sts to listen to the conversation and
identify what kind of field trip the students are talking about.
Then, ask sts what animals do they know and write them on
the board.
(10 min) Explore the animals on the page and ask sts if they
know where those animals are from. Practice the language “I
think the elephants are from Africa.”
(10 min) Ask sts if they can remember the names of the
continents in English and where they are in the map. Play the
[ ] Engage vídeo and ask sts to repeat the names of the continents with
[x] Study you.

(12 min) ACT. 2 Ask sts to go to the next page and write the

names of the continents and animals using the cues in the
charts.
(15 min) Play the audio and check with them. Ask sts to repeat
the animal’s names with you and practice the expressions
“Where are lions from? They are from ____” by asking sts
directly.
(20 min) ACT. 3 Ask sts to compare the conversations in the
page, then, complete the table with the missing words. Check
their answers. Put sts in two groups and ask them to discuss
the questions related to letter “c” and the other animals.
(20 min) ACT. 4 Play a bamboozle game with animals and
where they are from.
(3 min) Tell sts it was a pleasure to meet them and you see
them next week.
