On Friday 9th February we are inviting students to come to school in non-school uniform in exchange
for a voluntary donation of £2. Form tutors will be collecting the cash donations next week leading up
to the non-school uniform day.
Students will still be expected to wear appropriate clothing for school for examples no pyjamas,
onesies or sliders. Students may wear their hair down but will be asked to tie it back in practical
subjects. The rules on mobile phones will be the same as usual so students need to keep their
phone in their bags or in jackets in lessons and in between lessons.
We are raising money for Alexander Devine who are a Children’s Hospice Service. Alexander Devine
provides an environment of growth and support, as well as a place of safety for everyone to express
their emotions. With the funds raised from the non-uniform day, we can help to ensure that children
with life-threatening conditions and their families get the specialist care and vital support they need,
along with making important memories.
More information on how the donations will be used can be found at https://alexanderdevine.org
Yours sincerely
