Job Description: -Housekeeping:
$12-$16 per hour depending on duty assignment.
Housekeepers are responsible for cleaning, dusting, vacuuming and tidying guest rooms and
property common areas. Duties include preparing fresh linens, doing laundry (less than 15% of
hours), making beds, dusting furniture and fixtures, washing floors, vacuuming carpeted areas,
emptying trash cans, cleaning windows, cleaning the bathroom & toilet and keeping the guest
rooms stocked with accessories and bathrooms stocked with supplies.

Housekeeping Duty Assignment Hourly Breakdown:
Room Attendant: $15 - $16 (2+ yrs exp required for top). (Staff that actually cleans the resort
rooms top to bottom, scrubbing, sanitizing, dusting, vacuum, stripping/making beds, window
cleaning, setting / staging, etc.)
House Attendant: $12-$14 (2+ yrs exp required for top). (Staff that support the Room
Attendant, stock linen closets, stock supplies in room, vacuum hallways, remove dirty
linen/towels & take to laundry, help strip beds, etc.)
Public Area Attendant: $12 (Staff cleans, sanitizes, vacuums, dusts public lobby areas and
public bathrooms).
Laundry Attendant: $12 (Staff unloads dirty towels, linens into commercial washer and
operates. Then moves laundered items to dryers. Hand folds and utilizes folding machine
based on items. May use commercial ironer (team activity) for linens. Places clean and ready
items in bins for staff to pick up and distribute). Laundry Attendant duty will be no more than
15% of a participant's weekly hours.

Job Description: As a dishwasher, participants are required to maintain the highest, professional standard of
cleanliness while having to keep up with a high volume of dishes and cleaning tasks.
As a prep cook, participants may be asked to help prepare food in one of the Resort¶s
restaurant operations. As a prep cook, participants will cut and peel vegetables, heat soups,
make sandwiches, grill meats and set salad bar; serve guests food from the line.
Physical Demands of Position Include:
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. 90-100% of the time will be spent standing, walking,
reaching, talking, hearing, tasting and smelling.
Participants will be working in both the prep cook and dishwasher positions.

Brief description of housing: Optional housing is cabins/dorms at nearby retreat center. Each cabin
has two separate bedrooms, each with separate bathroom access or
male/female bathroom, and one common area per cabin. Refrigerators
and microwaves are in each cabin. Each bedroom sleeps four people
comfortably. Each cabin has a small porch with chairs. Dorms sleep up
to 4 and have own bathroom or male/female bathroom.
There is a large greenspace area with a fire pit and covered pavilion
with picnic tables. The grounds also have a nature trail for walking or
running, an outdoor basketball court, volleyball, and greenspace for
soccer & softball.
The Main Lodge has a large game room area with ping pong tables and
other games. There is also a full kitchen with appliances, cookware,
flatware, glasses, etc. Additional gathering areas and public bathrooms
available in lodge with outside deck overlooking the woods.
Transportation to and from work will be provided, as well as planned

shopping and laundry visits.

Arrivals to Milwaukee are PREFERRED!
Participants must give flight information to the employer at least two weeks before arrival.
Shuttle must be scheduled ahead of time, or participant is responsible for own transportation from
airport.
In general, there may be only one shuttle run available to an airport per day and split between
Milwaukee (MKE) and O'Hare (ORD). There is no shuttle service available on Friday, Saturday,
Sunday or holidays. Please do not plan to arrive on these days!
Please note, pickups would be grouped together, and participants may need to be prepared to wait
overnight for the next Abbey shuttle (complimentary) or arrange their own transportation to the resort,
which is not reimbursable.

provided additional advisement at the time regarding campus arrival and check-in, as well as necessity
for "day of flight" communication. For example: On time or delayed flights, real time photos of traveling
clothes for easy identification, assigned shuttle driver pick up spot information and more.
It is imperative participants respond to all traveling and check-in communications from Mike and all
team members assisting with arrival plans.

community: opposite side of Geneva Lake (approximately a 15 minute drive) is the
resort town of Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. The Lake Geneva area has
many attractions such as beaches, specialty shops and galleries,
golfing, boating, hiking the Potawatomi Trail, lake cruises, great food,
and lodging services.

Public transportation is not available. Uber and Lyft may be utilized by participants by choice (fees apply) for personal
errands.
Participants can easily travel by bicycle or by walking around Lake Geneva.
Participants may also want to purchase a bicycle and the safety gear as bike paths and sidewalks are well maintained
in the area. Bicycles can be purchased starting at approximately $100 from:

Participants must follow all bike safety rules as well as wear a helmet, use a light and have a bike lock.
The employer will also arrange transportation for participants to complete planned grocery/laundry errands (set
