Hi this is my first time writing on here so please don't get mad at anything right now I
promise I'll get better and work hard just give me ideas on what y'all want.

 What about home

All the pouges have been through a lot way more then a kid should.Kids at their age Should
be ready to graduate,go to prom, go to party's,and be with their friends and family but not the
pouges.The pouge life for them is a little different instead of having fun they are running
from the cops, dodged death so many times,been in jail,been kidnapped,been stranded on a
deserted island, saw so much death,and so much more.

Between all that trauma they still have lives maybe not the one you expect for teens to have
but it's their life. Especially a love life. John b's with Sarah Pope's with Cleo but JJ and kie
it's complicated for those too. They've been through so much together,But they are still
having trouble with what's going on between them.

When JJ came to save kie from the wilderness camp he apologized for everything and he
finally let kie say the words he had been trying to protect her from.They shared their kiss left
to go help their chosen family,but there is still so much they had to talk about.

After ward and Big John died they didn't have any room to talk about them that had to be
there for there two friends Sarah and John B everyone was hurt when Big John passed
because he was like a second father to them. Not to JJ though he was hurt more because Big
John was like his only father he raised JJ and taught him everything he knows now and how
to take care of him self something his own dad didn't do.So Big John stepped up and took the
young boy in as his own.

On the way home everyone was hurt and tired. They felt weird flying back on the Cameron
plane but it was their only ticket home. Everyone was sleeping but JJ he had way too much to
think about like how he just lost his only father figure,he has nowhere to go, but most
importantly Kiara. Kiara was the girl JJ has always wanted from the first day of kindergarten
till now. He just doesn't understand what to do anymore.

"Jayj" a small voice said he was a little startled by the voice at first until he saw who the
voice was coming from it was the girl he was in love with.

"Yeah kie" he said in a whisper trying not to wake the others.

"Can I sit over there with you" she sounded nervous about the question.

"Sure I don't mind but try not to wake Sarah." He said as he looked at the girl curled up next
to her sound asleep.

Kie walked very slowly trying not to wake up anyone as she took the seat next to JJ and said
"What were you thinking about" as she got comfortable.

"Everything" he said as he looked at her in her beautiful brown eyes.

"Like what" she said as she looked into his Bright blue eyes.
He didn't want to lose eye contact but he got nervous at the question so he had to look
away."Like what were going to do when we get home,Big John, your parents, and...." He
went quiet.

"And?" She looked at him with a confused look.

"Us" he said as he looked at the floor of the plane.

"Jayj look at me" she said as she grabbed his face with her soft hands so he could look at her.
"When we get home I'm going to take care of you like I always have and Even though Big
John is gone.." said as tears were starting to form and as he voice cracked at the mention of
big John. " Gone that doesn't mean he's gone forever you know why cause we have John B
and he's just like big John crazy and all." She said with a laugh.
"And my parents I don't know jayj but Ill handle them later. But us..jayj I meant what I said a
kitty hawk I really do love you jj more then just my best friend I love every thing about you
even if you think your broken I still love you." She said as tears ran down her face.

JJ brought he's hands to set on her face so he could wipe away the tears " I love you to kie
and I know I might make that hard sometimes but i really do love you. And for your parents
kie your not going to do that alone cause you have us...you have me" he said with a nervous
smile on his face."everything you do or whatever decision you make I'm going to be right
their by your side we all are were going to handle this together just like we always do." He
said as he wiped his thumb across her cheek to wipe away more tears.

Kie looked further into his blue eyes "promise?" she said quietly

"I promise kie" he held out his pinky for her to grab and she did with a little chuckle along
the way.

And with that JJ kissed her right then and there she pulled back just a little but then she
started to kiss him back. He rested his forehead onto hers and looked into her eyes.Just as he
was about to go in for another kiss the pilot yelled "Were here we have arrived at y'all's
destination!"

"Home sweet home" she said with a worried look on her face before JJ kissed her on her
cheek and got up to wake the others "Guys Wake y'all asses up were here!" he yelled

Everyone got up to the sound of jjs voice. As the door opened JJ grabbed kies hand gave it a
little squeeze she smile then he let her hand go.
"
"Were are we going?"pope asked with a tired look on his face.

"My dad left me the cando and a credit card we could go their for a little while." Sarah said as
she got off the plane and thanked the man.

Everyone looked at John b for a answer "sure that'll work." He said

" The only thing it theirs 3 bedrooms and 2 baths." Sarah said as she also claimed the biggest
bedroom for her and John B. Leaving two bedrooms for the others.
Cleo was quick to say "me an pope will take one" as Pope gave her a little smile.

Everyone looked between kie and JJ no one knowing what happened a kittyhawk yet.
"Ummm...that's fine me and JJ will take the other one then." Kie said as everyone looked at
her with a look confused but didn't thank to much of it as they began to walk to said cando.

"Are you sure" JJ asked her as they followed behind the others

"Yeah I'm sure we still have lots to talk about anyways" she said as she looked down at the
grass.

Since technically everyone was still looking for the size pouges they had to walk in the
woods kind of trying hard not to get seen.

They finally made it to the cando as everyone said together "home sweet home"
 I feel safe in your arms
Chapter Summary

Everyone is finally ready for a good night sleep or at least that's what they all thought.
Nothing will ever be the same they all have so much trauma.

Hopefully this one's better I'm surprised I finished two chapters in one day that's just
really shocking to me.

As everyone finally made their way inside the house they closed the blinds and curtains so no
one could look inside and find them. Sarah of course called dibs on one of the showers and
Cleo called the other leaving kie and the boys alone (the og pouges if you will) ever since
everything it's never been just the four of them.

Kie missed all of them even if they were always together she missed it being just her and the
boys. The boys were always very protective over her especially JJ. She thought it was just a
big brother little sister relationship but it was so much more then that at least to JJ it was.

"Penny for your thoughts" she turned to look at the three boys looking straight at her.

She began to say "I don't know it's just a lot right now and I'm scared I guess I miss y'all so
much is all" she said in a very sad tone as she looked at the floor.

"What are you talking about kie were right here." John b said as he pointed around the room
to everyone.

She looked up at him " that's not what I meant I know y'all are here but I just miss it being us
four I mean like don't get me wrong I love Sarah and Cleo it's good to have girls to talk about
everything" she said as all the boys payed very closely attention to her and to what she was
saying " I just I don't know miss going on the pouge on late nights drinking beer getting super
wasted and smoking a big ass joint while y'all three idiots asked the most random question."
She said with a laugh

"I miss just swinging in the hammock and watching the sunset and looking out into the stars
and how Pope would just talk his nerdy little self to sleep or how you and JJ would go on late
night swims and the next day i would have to take care of y'all stupid ass cause y'all got sick.
I just miss everything and how things used to be so relaxing cause we didn't care about
anything in the fucking world. Now look at us my parents sent me to a wilderness camp,John
B the cops are looking for you,JJ has no where to go,Pope lost his stupid scholarship." She
said as she wiped tears she didn't even realize we're coming down her face.

"Kie." Pope said as she turned to look at him "even though things aren't like they used to be
we still got each other" Pope add

"And even if it's scary your not going to be alone we're still always going to be your three
annoying big brothers no matter what your never going to have to face anything alone." John
b said as his own shed of tears were coming down his face.

'Kie we love you so much you have safed our asses so much and for that we're thankful for
even if we give you a hard time and just like your always there for us were going to be right
by your side were your number one supporters kie" JJ said with a tear running down his face

They all got up to give a big pouge hug just like old times.

Sarah and Cleo got out the shower almost at the same time obviously Cleo coming out be for
Sarah which ment the showers were open for the next two people kie and JJ beat Pope and
John B to the showers

As kie finished up her hair she but it in two messy French braids so her hair wouldn't be in
her face.when kie made it to her and jjs room she was a little nervous about sharing a beds
with JJ. Sure she and him have shared a bed before like on late night both drunk out their
minds,or to tired to move,or sleep overs but this right here was different for her for both of
them. When she opens the door she was confused on why JJ was on the floor with a pillow
and a blanket.

"JJ?" She said as he made eye contact with her. "Yeah?" He said in a tired voice
"Why are you one the floor?"she said with a confused tone

"So you could have the bed." He said like it was obvious

"Jayj get on the bed we can share the bed" she said with a laugh

"Are you sure I can sleep down here if you want me to."

"JJ if you don't get on the bed right now I swear to God Ill beat the shit out of you."

"Ok ok fine so bossy" he said as they shared a laugh together.

Kie quickly put her stuff down and walked out the room to say goodnight to everyone.
Everyone was way to tired to eat but she knew the would be starving in the morning so she
quickly cut up some fruit that the cando had so they could eat in the morning. When she
finally finished she put the cut up fruit in a container and put it in the fridge along with a note
that said "eat this bitches-p4l" on her way back to the room she stopped at Sarah's and John
Bs room only to find Sarah curled up in a ball crying john b was still in the shower so kie felt
bad and didn't want her to be alone.
"Sarah?" She said as she sat on the other side of the bed in front of the blonde "it's okay were
here for you I'm here" kie said as she moved some of the blond hair out of Sarah's face so she
could look at her better.

"Why does shit like this always happen to us?" Sarah said in a sad and hurt voice.

"I don't know but your not alone you have me okay and we're not splitting up again I promise
you that okay now here I'll stay with you until John B comes out or until you fall asleep
okay?"

"O-ok' the blond haired girl said as she got comfortable in kies arms.

Sarah quickly fell asleep in kies arm she knew that the girl was very tired. John b was taking
so long so kie decided to leave the girl as she sleeps as kie was getting out of the bed she
moved some more hair out of Sarah's face and gave her a kiss on her cheek and whispered in
her ear" I promise I'll love you for ever and never leave your side none of us will"

Kie walked down the hallway stoped to look in Pope and cleos room just to make sure they
were safe and of course those two were already asleep in each other's arms.

Kie finally made it back to her and jjs room to find the light on and him still awake. "Why are
you still awake" she asked while she quietly closed the door.

" I was waiting for you what took you so long?" He asked

As she got into bed he moved over to make room for her " I cut up some fruit for everyone
tomorrow and I was walking down the hall and found Sarah crying so I was trying to comfort
her."

"Is she okay? Did it work?"

"Yeah I think. she is cried in my arms for a couple of minutes and then she fell asleep and
then I left and I stopped to make sure Pope and Cleo were okay"she said as she got
comfortable in her spot to face him and he turned over to face her.

"You take such good care of everyone kie." He looked into her eyes as she struggled to keep
them open he put his hand on her face and rubbed her cheek.

"Time for you to sleep." He said before she closed her eyes

"I love you jayj" she said as she moved closer to him but still not touching him.

"I love you to kie" he said as he closed his own eyes.

"GET THE HELL OFF OF ME!" She yelled JJ turned around to look at her she was still
asleep he turned to look at the clock next to him it read 3:28 AM "PLEASE STOP!"She
yelled again.

"Kie wake up please it's just a dream please kie open those beautiful eyes for me kie please!"
He yelled not loud though he continued to shake her before she woke up.
 "JJ!" She said his name loud as tears were rushing out her eyes.

She quickly pulled him to a hug and continued to cry in his neck.

"It's okay Kiara I'm right here don't worry your safe I promise." He said as he stroked the
messed up French braids.

"JJ it was so scary they took me away from y'all again...from you and my parents were just
standing their laughing at me while you were screaming for me." She choked up from all the
crying.

"Kiara I promise no one is here to take you from me and even if they were I would never let
them." He said as he hugged her tighter.

They stayed like that a few moments before they heard a knock on the door.
"Come in." JJ said careful not to let kie go as she continues to cry in his arms.

"Are y'all okay?" John and pope both say at the same time with worried looks on their face
all they could hear was kie crying but they couldn't see her she was covered by jjs body.

"Yeah we're good go back to bed I got it" he told them they left the room and went back to
there own beds.

Kie cried in his arms louder when they left. Not wanting to let go of JJ.

"It's okay kie I'm right here don't worry" he said trying to calm her down with a kiss on her
forehead.

Minutes went by before she finally stopped crying. She didn't let JJ go though so he carefully
rolled them over so he's on his back and she's on top of him.

"I'm sorry JJ I didn't mean to wake you I was just so scared." She said with a sniffle as she
looked into his eyes.

"Kie you never have to be sorry I'm right here ok by your side on good and bad days no
matter what through your highs and lows I'm not leaving you." He said as he went in for a
kiss.
She kissed him right back and when they finally broke the kiss kie rested her head on his
chest and began to fall asleep right in his arms the place were she feels the most safe and
protected.She know everything he says is true and she is so thankful for him.

It was 10:25 when JJ woke up he was on his back when he felt the weight on his right side of
his chest It was Kiara still sound asleep. JJ didn't want to wake her so he stayed until she was
ready to start the day. She looks so peaceful in her sleep JJ thought to himself, he knows she
probably tired from last night she scared the shit out of him he was so worried. JJ thought to
himself how many times Kiara has been their for him when had nightmares or couldn't sleep.
He knows it was a lot she was the only one who knows how to take care of him on night like
that and he wants to do the same for her.

10:35 was when she started to move around. JJ was careful not to move not trying to scare
her so he just laid there he was still hold onto her though scared she might be gone if he just
let her go.

"Jayj?" She said her eyes still closed as she buried her face deeper into his bare chest.

"Yeah kie I'm right here." He said quietly.

"Good morning." She said as she finally opened her eyes to look up at him. He kissed her
forehead "good morning to you too kie." He said with a small smile on his.

"I just want to apologize again for last night I don't know what happened." She said with a
frown on her face. He cupped her face in his hand making her look at him and said "kie you
never have to be sorry I'm always going to be right here I'm never going to leave you kie.
Your going to be so tired of me you're going to be begging me to leave." He finished saying
with a laugh.

She began to laugh at the joke as well "I bet I will." She said as she kissed his light red lips.
As they began to kiss each other back and forth he broke the kiss just to say "As much as I
would love to stay in bed all day with you cause believe me I do we have bigger and scarier
fish to fry."

That won him a groan from the girl as she rolled off of him and buried her face deeper into
her pillow. He began to tickle her to make her get out of bed. "JJ!" She said trying to push
him off of her laughing. "Stop your go-going to make me pee on my-myself." She said trying
to breathe but couldn't do to all of the tickling. And with that JJ stopped as he laughed at her
as she ran out the room rushing to the bathroom.

JJ got out of bed himself looking through his bag for a shirt to put on. He made sure to go to
kies bag to get her some clothes but all she had were some shorts and some kittyhawk hoodie
he knew she wouldn't want to wear in fact it made him mad just thinking about her being by
herself with no one but just some guys telling her what to do. So instead he just went back to
his backpack and grabbed one of his shirts for her to wear. He knocked on the bathroom door
waiting for her answer. When she opened the door she was still taking down some of her hair
for the braids the night before.

"Hey jayj what's up?" She asked him "Ummm... I brought you some clothes to change into if
want them." He said as he handed her said clothes.

" Oh good thanks I was just about to go get some." She said with a smile.

JJ walked to the kitchen only to find Cleo and John eating grapes and talking to each other
and pope and Sarah reading something he's not sure what it's is though. "Good morning
guys." He said not sure what kind of mode everyone was in.

"Hey JJ." Sarah said with a small but hurt smile.

"Hey." John b said not even looking up from the floor to greet him.

"Hey rude boy where's chief at." Cleo said trying to light the mood he thinks to him self.

"Getting ready for what ever wild adventures come today." He said as he sat down at the
table across form Sarah and pope taking some of the fruit kie told him about last night of
course everyone was eating she knows them to well. "What were y'all talking about?"

Pope looked up at him and said" we were talking about what we're going to do with the gold
because we have no idea. "

"Oh what were some of the ideas?" JJ asked "Maybe we should wait for kie." John b finally
spoke up "Yeah your right." JJ said.

"Hey guys good morning." Kie said 2 minutes later finally coming out the rest room. "Good
morning." Everyone said at the same time. Kie walked over to John b and took the
watermelon out of his hand for herself. He just laughed and rolled his eyes as he went back in
for another piece .

"What were y'all talking about?" She said as she sat on the counter next to sink.
"What were going to do with the gold we were waiting for you." Cleo said and gave her a
small smile. "Oh ok carry on then."

"Ok so Pope had this idea that maybe we could go to Charleston and I don't know maybe find
some one who will buy the gold from us at a reasonable price." John b said as he looked at
her and JJ since he had know idea what they were talking about either. "Ok but what's the
price of the gold?"JJ asked as he stood up walking to Big bowl of fruit on the counter.

"That's what we're trying to figure out. You see since technically speaking the gold is ancient
history then it could go for a really high price but the only thing is." Sarah said with a pause.

"Is making people believe." Kie finished the sentence for Sarah as she threw her head back.

"Exactly." Sarah said running her hands through her hair with a loud sigh. "Wait!" Kie said
hopping off the counter.

"What if we I don't maybe bring the big stone and the the translation key with us to a
museum?" She said as she looked around the room. "

How do we know their going to believe us and buy the gold from us?" JJ asked. "Wait no kies
right museums buy history stuff all the time, And with all the proof we have the have to
believe us." John b said.

"We can't just go to Charleston with all this gold thats like walking in with a post on my head
saying rob us we have gold." Cleo said sarcastically.

"Your right but maybe we drop some of the gold in my bed at my house." Pope said. "Good
idea I remember we well I put a hole in you mattress to hid my weed in."JJ said with the
memory he put back into his head.

"Yeah thanks for that by the way my mattress still smells like weed."

"No problem bubba." JJ said with a small chuckle.

"Ok so who's going to Pope's and how the hell are we getting to Charleston?" John b asked.
"Well me and Cleo could go since technically we asked if we could go so my parents know I
was gone and if I show them the gold then maybe they'll let me borrow their truck to go to
Charleston since technically speaking today it their day off from deliveries." Pope said stating
the obvious.

"Wait do we have a full blown plan right now?"Sarah asked standing up.

"Maybe but let's try not to blow it."JJ said.

" Okay let's get ready then." Pope said looking at Cleo. JJ left to go to the bathroom Pope and
Cleo left to go to their room to get ready to leave and Sarah went to her room to get the stone
leaving John B and Kie alone in the kitchen.

"How you feeling JB?" Kie said walking over to John b put her hand on his shoulder.
"I don't know any more Kie you know it just a lot right now." John b said turning to look at
her.

"Yeah I get it you might not think I do but I promise you I do at least most of it I loved...love
your dad too he raised all of us. Hell my parents let two men take me away while they just
watched they took me away because they thought y'all were bad for me but look at us now
we found the Royal merchant,the cross of Santo Domingo Even if they got taken away we
found el dorado John b we did that together just like we always have were not leaving you
ok." Kie said while she went in for a hug as she felt John Bs tears in to crook of her neck she
felt her own shed of tears coming down as well. They stayed like that in each other's arms for
a couple of minutes just crying and feeling the comfort of a brother sister love.

She can't lie when John b kissed her she was a tad bit uncomfortable only because she had
always thought of him as the older protective annoying brother she never had and she thought
he thought of her the same way just as a sister obviously.

"We ready?" Pope asked coming out his room with a back pack and Cleo right behind him.
"Yeah I think so." John b said looking nervous.

"Where's rude boy and Sarah? Cleo asked looking around the room.

"Ummm...I don't know let me go find JJ." Kie said "And Ill go get Sarah."John b said
following kie.

"JJ?" Kie said looking his and her room. He was no where in their she walked to the restroom
where he was supposed to be but again he was no where."JJ?!" She said getting worried. She
walked back into her room and walked outside on to the little balcony connected to their
room facing the ocean she can't lie it was a really pretty view. "JJ?" She asked on more time
as she found the boy she had been looking for he was just standing their and looking out into
the ocean. "Ummm.. everyone is ready are you?" She asked walking over to him.

"Yeah.yeah I just need a moment is all." He said still not looking at the girl.

"Oh ok you want me to leave you alone?" she asked while starting to walk away but then
stopped when she felt him grab her wrist.

"No I want you to stay."he said making her stay with him.

Kiara and JJ still had so much to talk about. Like what are they are they friends or are the
boyfriend and girlfriend both of them are way to scared and nervous to ask the other. The
didn't want to ruin the friendship between them. They stayed in silence the only noise was the
the waves from the ocean

"we should go back." JJ said pulling her out of her thoughts "Yeah your right they probably
miss us anyways." She said walking back inside with JJ right behind her.

Pope and Cleo left to go to the Heywards everyone was super nervous and scared after all
John b has a warrant out for him right now,Kie left kittyhawk which ment her parents didn't
know where she was, and JJ well hes the one who broke her out so technically speaking she
was so called "Kidnapped" even though she was the one welling to go.

"Kie" a voice said.

Kiara turned her body to look at the person who the voice was coming from she was just
sitting on her bed when Sarah walked in.

"Yeah sare" kie asked moving over so Sarah could sit next to her.

"What are we thinking? Do you think we're to crazy for all this?"Sarah asked looking at the
floor.

"I don't know Sarah and yes we might be crazy but at least we're crazy together that's all that
matters you know." Kie said trying to comfort the girl.

"I know that's right." Sarah said with a chuckle along with kie.

It's been a total of 23 minutes since Pope and Cleo left and yes JJ was keeping track he was
pacing back and forth starting to get worried.

He looked at the clock again that was set down next to the couch in the very small but large
at the same time living room.

"The more you look at it the slower times going to past." John b said walking out the
bathroom to sit on the couch.

"Were are they their taking forever." JJ said picking up his pace.

"JJ you need to calm down they'll be here soon just try to get your mind off of things I know
your scared believe me I do cause I'm scared to but we just need to stay calm." John b said
patting on the seat next to him telling JJ to sit down and relax.

"So how are things with JJ" Sarah asked as they still were sitting on the bed in JJs and kies
room.

" To be honest I don't know like their kind of confusing" kie said looking at t the blond haired
girl.

"Confusing how tell me everything" Sarah said looking at kie.

"Ok here we go then When JJ came to rescue me out of kittyhawk he apologized for
everything he did and I told him I love him" kie said but paused.

"Aaand?" Sarah said as she wanted the girl to continue.

"And he said he loved me too and then we kissed." Kie said but was interrupted by Sarah.

"WHAT!?" Sarah said but her mouth was covered by kies hand telling her to be quiet.
"Sorry but you and JJ kissed??" Sarah said acting surprised.

"Yeah nad like we kissed again last night and this morning and he told me he loved me and
like I don't know Sarah I love him so much but.." kie said as she looked at the floor.

"You don't want to ruin y'all's friendship and you don't know if he loves you the same way
you love him." Sarah said finishing for kie

"Exactly like we've been friends for like 12 years and I don't know how long I've been in love
with him cause if I'm being honest I don't think it's a new feeling?" Kie said as she began to
blush.

"You know Cleo thought y'all were together when she first meet y'all?" Sarah said

"Really?"

Yeah she asked me how long y'all were dating and John b said y'all weren't but that it feels
like y'all have been dating for years and Cleo said to just give y'all time before one of yall
gave in." Sarah said.

"That sounds like something Cleo would say." Kie said.

Even though Cleo just joined their group it feels like shes been around for years she just
blends right in with everyone.

Sarah and kie joined the boys in the living room Sarah went to sit on John Bs lap and kie
went to sit next to JJ she was really nervous around him and she got even more nervous as JJ
pulled her to lean against him. The four just started talking about anything and everything in

KIES PARENTS CAME KNOCKING AT THE DOOR ASKING WHERE SHE AND JJ
WERE AND THEN SHOUPE PULLED UP ASKING WHERE JOHN B WAS AND WHEN
WE SAID WE DIDN'T KNOW WHERE YALL WERE WE LEFT BUT GUYS I THINK
THEY WERE FOLLOWING US AND YALL NEED TO HURRY UP AND GO SARAH
YOU NEED TO STAY SO THAT WAY WE DONT GET ASKED QUESTIONS ON WHY
WERE HERE!" Pope explained really fast barely breathing.

"SHIT!" JJ said as he left the room to go get their bags.

"Were do we go?!" John b asked as he helped JJ get the bags.

" If my parents are coming here then we can go to my house and grab my boat and we can
meet you three at Charleston Sarah you still got you phone and we still have the phone from
singe so just call us when you on your way!" Kie said as she put her backpack on.
 "Ok let's go!" JJ said.

"Y'all go through the master bedrooms window so y'all don't get seen!" Sarah said rushing
the three of them to leave.
