Julian Banzon

As a pioneer in renewable energy, Julian Banzon uses

his skill in producing alternative fuels through his
research methods. As he specialized in chemistry, it was
easy for him to do this incredible innovation, and he was
even known for extracting resident coconut oil from the
fruit. With his outstanding research, he was able to help
people not solely to rely on fossil fuels. This research
earned him a Certificate of Merit from the Department of
Agriculture and Natural Resources, which is only one of
many awards he has received in his lifetime.
His study about cassava has also proven to be useful in industrial settings. The study
showed the useful products that could be extracted from the crop, including chemicals
such as acetone and ethanol.
He has taken on a variety of professions, including serving as a biochemist, a teacher at
his alma mater, an associate chemist, as a chairman, and a director of the Philippine
Atomic Research Center.

Fe Delmundo
Regarding the child healthcare system, Fe del Mundo
was a notable Pediatrics pioneer. She founded the first
pediatric Philippine hospital and focused on addressing
what the country lacked regarding medical equipment in
specific communities like rural areas. And among her
remarkable contributions to the Filipino people, an
incubator made out of bamboo is her most famous
invention. She has specifically designed the equipment
so people who live in places without electrical power can
regulate the temperature of their infants well.
Del Mundo revolutionized Philippine medicine, making major breakthroughs in
immunization and in the treatment of jaundice, and providing healthcare to thousands of
poor families. She is credited with studies that led to the invention of the incubator and a
jaundice relieving device. Her methods, like the BRAT diet for curing diarrhea, have
spread throughout the world and saved millions
