each - 1st Colour (C1) Yellow Print, 2nd
Colour (C2) Aqua, 3rd Colour (C3)
Lavender, 4th Colour (C4) Mauve, 5th
Colour (C5) Rose, 6th Colour (C6) Pink and
7th Colour (C7) Peach.
• A 4.50mm crochet hook, or size required
to give correct tension.
• Fabric stiffener or plastic canvas for
mounting rainbow.
• Scissors
• Yarn needle
• Tape measure

Break off C7.
FINISHING
DO NOT PRESS, but block to shape if
desired by dampening rainbow on WS,
moulding to shape as pictured and laying
flat on towels to dry. Sew in ends towards
centre of work. Wind each colour around
a piece of cardboard 20cm long and cut
along one edge. Using crochet hook and
4 strands of yarn for each tassel, make 2
tassels in matching colours in end of each
stripe as pictured. Trim to desired length.
If desired, paint back of rainbow excluding
tassels with fabric stiffener and leave to dry,
or alternatively, cut a piece of plastic canvas
slightly smaller than rainbow and sew in
position to back of rainbow.

Width (approx finished) 61cm
Length (approx finished) 90cm
TENSION
16 sts and 26 rows to 10cm over patt using
4.50mm hook.

Rep 2nd row 3 times.
Rep last 4 rows once. Break off C2.

corner, sl st in 1ch at beg.
Rep 1st round once.
Fasten off.
FINISHING
DO NOT PRESS. Sew in ends towards centre
of work.
