Two reasons why I love Tuesdays...the Monday blue is already over and it's FREE CROCHET
PATTERN time!
This week I want to share an easy project to crochet a super adorable little Fairy.
Either you're looking for a sweet baby shower gift for a baby girl or you are already working on
some handmade Christmas presents, this pattern is just perfect for you!
Choose you favorite yarn in your favorite colors and I'll promise you'll have fun!

SKILL LEVEL: Intermediate
YARN: - Medium Weight Cotton Yarn (Lace 4) in Pink, Gray, Light Brown and White
- Cotton Thread (Lace 10) in Black and Red
OTHER MATERIALS: Polyester Fiber Filling; Yarn Needle
HOOK SIZES: E/3.25 mm; 3.50 mm
STITCHES USED and ABBREVIATIONS: magic ring (mr), chain (ch), slip stitch (sl st), single
crochet (sc), double crochet (dc), back loop only (BLO), front loop only (FLO), reverse single
crochet (reverse sc), decrease (dec), increase (inc), fasten off (F/O).
INSTRUCTIONS: work in rounds (join with a sl st and ch1 at the end of each round) otherwise
instructed.

LEGS AND BODY (pink, white and gray yarn; 3.25 hook)
Make two:
1) start off with pink yarn, 6 sc in a mr (6)
2-17) sc even (6); F/O, hide the yarn and stuff the leg
Do no cut the yarn once you have completed the 2nd leg, CH 4 INSTEAD
Merge the two legs together:

18) switch to white yarn, join the yarn with a sl st to the 1st leg, ch1 and sc in the same st, crochet
around 5 sc, 1 sc in each st between the two legs, keep working on the 2nd leg, 6 sc, 1 sc in each st
between the two legs (20)
19-20) sc even (20); keep stuffing as you go
21) switch to gray yarn, working in BLO, sc even (20)
22-24) sc even (20)
25) *3 sc, 1 sc dec*, repeat ** around (16)
26-28) sc even (16)
29) *2 sc, 1 sc dec*, repeat ** around (12)
30) switch to pink yarn, *2 sc, 1 sc dec*, repeat ** around (9); finish stuffing
31-32) sc even (9); F/O and hide the yarn.

17) sc dec around, 1 sc (5); F/O and close the hole

4) sc even (12)
5) *2 sc, 1 sc dec*, repeat ** around (9)
6-8) sc even (9)
9) *1 sc, 1 sc dec*, repeat ** around (6)
10) sc even (6)
11) flatten it out and crochet through both layers now, 3 sc (3); F/O and leave a long tail of yarn to
sew the wing to the back of the body, between rounds #27-29.
