Our school is like a second home, and our community is the neighborhood where we live.
Just like we take care of our toys and our family, it's important to take care of the places
where we learn and live.
Keep our Classroom Clean: We can pick up after ourselves and make sure our desks and
classroom are tidy. This helps create a nice space for everyone to learn.
Listen and Follow Rules: When we listen to our teachers and follow school rules, we create a
safe and happy environment for everyone.
Help Friends: If a friend is having a tough time or needs help, we can lend a hand or be a
good listener. This makes our classroom feel like a caring community.
Respect School Property: Taking care of books, pencils, and other school supplies means
they last longer for everyone to use. It's like being a superhero for our school things!
Clean Up Outside: In our neighborhood, we can help pick up litter or organize community
clean-up events. This keeps our community looking beautiful.
Be a Good Neighbor: Saying 'hi' to our neighbors and being friendly is a way of showing
that we care about the people around us.
Planting and Caring for Plants: We can help plant flowers or trees in our community. Plants
make our surroundings look nice and provide fresh air.
Sharing with Others: If we have extra toys or clothes, we can share them with friends or
donate them to those who need them. Sharing makes everyone feel happy!
By doing these things, we're like little community superheroes! We make our school and
neighborhood better places for everyone. So, let's spread kindness and care wherever we
go!"
INSTRUCTIONS: In each pencil, write down other ways on how you can
better show care and concern to your school and community.
It is important to show care and concern to our school and community for us to live
together harmoniously and maintain the peace among us.
In the context of school and community, St. Thérèse might encourage
individuals to approach with a spirit of love and humility. This could
involve putting effort into even the smallest tasks, treating classmates
and community members with kindness, and finding joy in serving
others in simple ways.
Dear God,
Thank you for the blessing you have given us every day. Please help and guide me to
become a better a child.
