EDUCATIONAL ATTAINMENT:
 1887 Quezon was only nine years old when his parents sent him to school in Colegio De
San Juan de Letran His school was not really far from their house.
 1894 He graduated as Summa Cum Laude in University of San Juan De Letran fo his
course Bachelor of Arts and after that he took Law there but it was cut short due to Fili-
American War.
 1899 THE FILIPINO -AMERICAN WAR. Because of the cut short of law in his school.
Quezon serve as the aide-de camp or personal secretary to Emilio Aguinaldo.

 After become the personal secretary, he rose to the rank of First Lieutenant, Captain and
become Major and fought in Bataan.
 1900 THE FIRST REPUBLIC OF THE PHILIPPINES SURRENDERED. After the
captured of Aguinaldo. Quezon was tasked to confirm whether it is true or not.
 He continued to study law school and worked in Monte Piedad.

CAREER IN CONGRESS
 1907 Manuel Quezon run for public officers as the governor of Tayabas.
 He was also elected as the representative on what we called the “First Philippine
Assembly” with the position of Majority Floor Leader
 Become also the resident commissioner, Representative of the Philippine in the American
Congress.
 He helped to enact the Philippine-Autonomy Law also knows as the Jones Law
 First Senate Pres. Of the Philippines until 1935
 Quezon headed the first independent mission to the U.S congress in 1919, with the
secured passage of the Tydings- Mc duffie Act in 1934
 In 1935, Quezon won the Philippines First National Presidential Election under the
Nationalista Party. He receive 68% vote against his two main rivals Aguinaldo and
Aglipay.
