Now, class do you remember the names of
your classmates who picked on the box?
Teacher, they are Anna, Angelica, Danny,
and Daina.
What did they do?
Teacher, they described the owner of the
names they picked on the box.
Based on the activity, what do you think
will be our lesson for today?
We will discuss describing words!
Very good. Let us read what describing
word is. Repeat after I read it. Are we clear?
Yes, sir!
Describing words add meaning to a noun.
They tell about persons, place things,
animals, and places. They usually come
before the words they describe.
Okay, I have pasted the examples of
describing words. Again repeat the word
after I read it. Are we clear?
Yes, sir!
(The teacher will present describing words)
I have here a story I will read it first, and
then you follow. After reading the story you
will tell me which words were used in the
story as describing words.
Application
For our group activity I will group you into
three groups and assign a leader. Each
group will receive a cartolina and an
envelope with piece of papers inside.

describe the person, place, thing, and
animal. Then paste it beside the picture.
