Dear Parents,

Trek & tour is an integral part of the curriculum, and our students look forward to this every year. The
dates of this year's programme are from the 8th of October to 14th of October 2023.

Principal Sir has already informed you, via letter dates 7 th August 2023, that following destinations have
been decided for different grades:
1] Grades V & VI : Dehradun – Mussoorie – Dhanaulti.
2] Grade VII & VIII : Chandigarh – Solan – Dalhousie – Khajjiar - Amritsar.
3] Grade IX : Bagdogra – Phuentsholing – Thimphu- Paro.
4] Grade X : Jaipur – Bikaner - Jodhpur – Jaisalmer.
5] Grade XI : Andaman - Port Blair – Havelock.
6] Grade XII : Leh-Laddakh - Nubra Valley- Pangong Lake.

As the school closes for the autumn break right after the trek & tour programme therefore you will have
an option to take your ward home directly after the end of programme on the 14 th of October
2023. Those of you who wish to avail this facility, must inform the concerned House Masters in
writing by Tuesday, 15th of August 2023. You are also requested to send the details of an authorized
person who will receive your ward from the hotel/airport.

The places from where students can be picked up are as follows:

1] Grades V & VI : From hotel in Dehradun.
2] Grade VII & VIII : From hotel in Amritsar.
3] Grade IX : From the Bagdogra Airport.
4] Grade X : From hotel in Jodhpur.
5] Grade XI : From Chennai Airport.
6] Grade XII : From Delhi Airport.
Students can be picked up from the hotels before 8 a.m. on Saturday, 14 th October 2023 by an
authorized person.
Dear Parents, as you know, trek & tour is a calendared activity, and it is mandatory for all students to be a
part of it. All bookings are done and in case a child decides to drop out now for any reason, the money
spent on airfare and other related bookings will have to be forfeited. I mention this here as we would feel
sad should any of our parent has to suffer a loss. The itinerary, flight details, hotel address with telephone
numbers and the mobile numbers of teacher in-charge will be sent to you in the Last week of September. For
any further clarification please contact the House Master.
