7 rare habits in 7 days that will

make you unstoppable (not
joking):
Marcus Frick

1. Sweat

Not the nervous kind.

The exercise kind.

Do it in the morning before work.

You’ll have more energy and a clearer
mind all day.

Recommendation:

Sweat for 30 minutes every morning.

If you’re starting out, shoot for 10
minutes 2x/week.

2. Ask for what you want

It can be as small as asking for advice,

as big as negotiating a pay raise.

Asking for what you want is a muscle

that needs exercise.

An extra boost:

“You get in life what you have the

courage to ask for.”

3. Journal

Get your thoughts down on paper so

they’re not banging around in your mind.

Try this:

If you’re new to journaling, answer these

3 questions:

1. What’s causing me stress?

2. What’s making me happy?
3. What’s my mission?

And–buy a Moleskine!

4. Practice Fasting

Fasting creates mental clarity and

promotes fat loss.

Fasting comes with the added benefit of

accomplishing a challenging goal.

You’re wired to eat.

That makes fasting hard.

Commit to fasting and follow through on

it to increase your self-respect.

Recommendation:

Experiment with a 16-hour fast from

dinner to your first meal the next day.

5. Read

Enter someone else’s world for a while.

You’ll think different, fresher thoughts.

You’ll be more articulate.
Less anxious.

It’s the oldest growth hack out there.

To build the habit:

Surround yourself with books.

Put one on your desk, one on the toilet,

one next to your bed.

Make reading an obvious choice.

6. Say No

Don’t go to the social function you feel

obligated to attend.

Get clear on your priorities and don’t do

things that aren’t aligned.

Before saying “yes”:

Ask yourself, “Am I agreeing to this out of

obligation or interest?”

7. Serve people

We’re all in this together.

Go out of your way to help someone and

your anxiety plummets.

It’s how we evolved, and it’s still the only

way to survive.

Action Item:

Ask yourself at the end of every day,

“Who did I help today?”
