Statement of the Problem

This study entitled “Health, Wellness, and Lifestyle of Grade 11 Learners of Pulot

National High School” aimed to determine the level of wellness and lifestyle of Grade 11

Learners. Specifically it sought to answer the following questions:

1.) What is the profile of Grade 10 Learners in terms of:

Research Design

In this study, the researcher will employ the quantitative-survey method of

research to determine the level of wellness and lifestyle of Grade 11 Learners of Pulot

National High School. Moreover, the method was also used to identify whether there

was a problem to the health and wellness of Grade 11 Learners.

In addition, this study will utilize the descriptive method in describing the profile of

Grade 11 Learners in terms of Age, Gender, Family size and Economic Status.

The research participants are Grade 11 students of Pulot National High

School whose age ranges from 16-18 years old.They came from two tracks namely TVL

and HUMSS. Grade 11 Learners come from the different Sitios and Barangay of the

Municipality of Lagayan and nearby Municipality of Tineg which include Collago,

Baybayatin, Calambat, Lukgay, Pulot, Calongboyan, Kallagip, Poblacion, Manaois,

Naglibacan Tineg.

The study area is at Pulot National High School Barangay Pulot , Lagayan , Abra ,

Philippines. A school which was established on January 1, 1971. At prevent , The

population of the school grow to high school students , One Principal , One Head

Teacher , Twenty One Permanent Teacher , Three non-teaching Staff and one Utility

Workers.

This study was conducted to determine the level of wellness and lifestyle of Grade

11 leaners who are studying at Pulot National High School , Pulot , Lagayan , Abra for

school year 2022-2023.

Data Gathering Instrument

Physical Fitness Test Score Card, This is the tool that the Researchers used to

gather data, Its have a different parts, it includes the different type of activities:

Data Gathering Procedure

Prior to the conduct of the study the researchers, through the assistance of their

adviser, wrote a communication letter to the principal for approval and to other

concerned personel for permission.

The researchers will wrote a formal letter to the School Head of Pulot National High

School to request for the list of respondents of Grade 11 learners. Then the researchers

will write a communication letter to the target respondents of Grade 11 Learners to seek

their approval in the conduct of the said study.

The researchers will then collect data through conducting survey and will analyze

the data collected from the answers of Grade 11 learners to the given questionnaire.
