Definition and impact of the concept of

initiative
■ It is having the desire to take the first step or move in doing
something. If no one takes that step, there will be no change
or progress.
■ This results from a deep awareness of the surrounding
environment in order to create a product or introduce a
service.
■ This ability enables the individual to decide what to do, when
and how to start through self-reliance.

Definition and impact of the concept of

initiative
■ This skill is a strong motivation for an individual to turn
ideas into action.
■ Initiative never means taking the wrong steps and not taking
things into account, because then it becomes a mistake, not
an initiative.
■ Mistake means doing something without thinking carefully
about the events and consequences.
