Housework
Housework
2. Body:
First of all, I think that each child must have his or her own responsibilities. When I
was young, my parents taught me to make the bed clean after waking up, so when
I woke up, I always folded the blanket and made the bed tidy. In addition, my
mother always wanted me to know how to cook, wash and iron clothes. Thanks to
learning from her mother, now when my mother is not at home I can still do all
the housework myself.
Second, performing household tasks teaches children to value the job of people
who did it. When I was a child I did not imagine that cleaning house could be so
time and energy consuming. So, when I began to do some of the household tasks
by myself I began to respect the job of others.
Finally, children can make their parents feel more relaxed after a busy day at work.
No need to do all the housework; they just need to do what they can to help. For
example, children can clean the floor, wash clothes and do laundry.
To sum up, I think that children should help their parents with household tasks.
Doing household tasks helps them to grow into independent, self-confident, and
attentive persons who respect their parents.
3. Conclusion: And those are the reasons why I think children should help
their parents do housework, I hope that each child will share housework
with their parents to benefit themselves.
*Question: What do you often do to help your parents with housework?
-For myself, after school, I always come home and help my mother do housework
such as sweeping the floor, washing dishes, cleaning the house. In addition, I also
help my mother cook dinner so that when my mother comes home from work,
she will have dinner right away.
