As it is said by people that you have theoretical knowledge but practical knowledge is must.
In the same way “Knowledge is power”, but without an application it does not have any
meaning. Thus, in any education it will be incomplete without exploring its practical
implication. Management education ideas not exception in this regard a project provide an
opportunity for student to explore their potential in conjunction with their learning and
contemporary environment.

A comprehensive project report is useful for the student to prepare themselves for the future.
Thus, it helps the student for making the right choice for good career. However, if as a worker

INTRODUCTION

INTRODUCTION
Online classrooms have become the new normal for students and teachers during the ongoing
COVID-19 pandemic. Students now communicate with teachers over video-conferencing
apps to study and keep up-to-date with their course remotely. To aid students during this time,
there are several online learning and education apps, which are available for both Android
and IOS devices in India. While some of these learning apps focus on general topics or are
used as study aids, others are designed with specialized fields of study in mind. Additionally,
education apps India help you understand concepts in interactive ways such as animated
videos, which make learning more fun and intuitive than the traditional method. Some apps
also come with a live class feature to help clear doubts in real-time. If you’re looking for the
best online learning apps in India, here’s a list that should help you.

The old-school methods of conducting a classroom simply don’t work for today’s plugged-in
students, who gain little from churning out stacks of worksheets and study guides. Modern
learning theory supports the shift away from antiquated, rote learning models toward
personalized learning opportunities in which instructional designs and academic-support
strategies are tailored to each individual student’s needs rather than uniform lesson planning.
This model also creates fun and engaging classroom atmospheres that benefit students and
teachers alike.

Personalized learning is not a new concept, but the emergence of classroom technology has
made it easier for educators to develop and deliver such student-centred lessons. This article
explores the benefits of personalized learning and how technology provides alternatives to
traditional “one-size-fits-all” approaches to teaching.

DRIVE STUDENT ENGAGEMENT

A common problem in classrooms is a disconnection between teachers and students.

Instructors are often not using the same language as their students, and the passive way in
which information is delivered can create even more disconnect for students who are either
very far ahead or very far behind their peers. This is one of the areas in which the
personalized learning model greatly benefits teachers and students alike.

2
Because this model takes into account each student’s learning needs, interests, abilities, and
aspirations, personalized learning creates more engaging and classrooms
dynamic that drive
academic achievementand personal growth. In fact, case studies have found that
implementing technology in the classroom to create personalized learning
lans increases
p
student achievement and improves test scores by an average of 30%. Here are some of the
specific ways teachers can use technology to create, implement, and measure personalized
lessons:

 Deliver instruction through engaging forms of media,

ncluding
i videos, audio clips,
andinteractivegames

 Give studentsmore options beyond the traditionalessay, poster, or report; for

example, students can deliver a multimedia slide presentation or a comic created with
animationsoftwareto convey their
understanding
of atopic

 Use digital tools to gather immediate feedback on students’ understanding and use the
information
to customize
subsequent lessons

MOBILE LEARNING

Mobile learning is expected to cross $78.5 billion worldwide by 2025, states the report by
GlobeNewswire. With the increase in the number of smartphone users, the number of people
opting for mobile learning is also increasing. However, this trend is going to stay as mobile
learning enables the users to learn new things at their convenience – from anywhere.
Accessibility and adaptability are also crucial components that uplift the mobile learning
trend.

AR/VR

Augmented and virtual reality are expanding the educational horizons, enabling educators to
introduce new ways of learning. This approach adds a practical aspect to theoretical learning
and helps find a simple solution to complex problems. Organizations can make the most of
these immersive technologies bydeveloping apps that increase user engagement.

GAMIFICATION

Whether you are a kid or aged, learning is more interesting when it has fun elements.
Gamification is what makes eLearning more engaging and fun. It enables users to interact
with the education material effectively. Some of the most sought-after gamification
techniques include points, badges, leaderboards, progress bars, rewards for correct answers,
and more. Byju’s kids’ learning app can stand out as an ideal example for the use of
gamification techniques.

6
7
ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE

Implementing AI gives a personalized touch to eLearning. As it helps in identifying the user

behaviour and learning style, it can offer personalized learning recommendations tailored to a
user’s needs. Voice assistants, a counterpart of Artificial Intelligence, allow students to
communicate with education materials without the intervention of teachers. Besides, AI
makes grading easier for teachers. It produces accurate results while saving a lot of time for
teachers.

MICROLEARNING

Haven’t got enough time to spare for education? Microlearning is the solution. Microlearning
refers to dividing the complete educational process into multiple parts. With this technology
in place, students have a spare just a few minutes per part. Thus, they can study at their own
pace and according to their convenience. In fact, experts say that learning in bite-sized pieces
is 17% more efficient than traditional long-duration classes. So, it is believed that
microlearning would soon surpass conventional learning.

TYPE OF ELEARNING APPLICATIONS

Educational applications or Elearning apps have become a primary source of imparting
education for many institutions, universities, colleges, and schools. The demand for such
applications has increased to modernize the field of education as well as to impart education
during this pandemic situation caused by COVID-19. Below are the types or categories of e-

learning apps that are in demand:

1.1.4.1.E-LEARNING APPS FOR PRE-SCHOOLERS

courses where students can enrol in a course from the comfort of their home. With a simple
registration, profile creation, and enrolment process, students can learn new courses of their
interest. With the app, institutions can do the following:

 Create leaderboards to make students compete with each other

 Quizzes and assignments to help students test their skills
 Discussion forums for better interactions

Let’s look over these examples to know how eLearning apps are making a difference in
the education sector-

KAHOOT – GAME-BASED LEARNING APPLICATION

Kahoot is a game-based learning application that is being used by many educational institutes
and schools to deliver engaging and entertaining learning. The app allows to create different
learning games and quizzes on any topic and share it with multiple users who can join and
play the game using a specific pin provided by the host. The eLearning app, with more than
70 million active users, has recently raised a funding of $215 million from Softbank.

DUOLINGO: E LEARNING APPLICATION

Duolingo is another popular eLearning app where users can learn more than thirty different
languages using its freemium model. The app offers courses for English, Spanish, French,
German, Korean, Japanese, Swedish, Danish, and other languages. Users can learn a
language at any time as per their convenience. Available for Android, iOS, Windows Phone,
and Windows 10 Mobile platforms, Duolingo has 500 million total app downloads.
Moreover, it has also raised $35 million funding from the Durable Capital and General
Atlantic on a $2.4 billion valuation.

KEY FEATURES OF ELEARNING APPLICATIONS

THE MOST IMPORTANT BENEFITS OF ELEARNING FOR STUDENTS

Today's learners want relevant, mobile, self-paced, and personalized content. This need is
fulfilled with the online mode of learning; here, students can learn at their own comfort and
requirement. Let's have an analytical look at the advantages of online learning.

ONLINE LEARNING ACCOMMODATES EVERYONE’S NEEDS

The online method of learning is best suited for everyone. This digital revolution has led to
remarkable changes in how the content is accessed, consumed, discussed, and shared. Online
educational courses can be taken up by office goers and housewives too, at the time that suits
them. Depending on their availability and comfort, many people choose to learn at weekends
or evenings.

LECTURES CAN BE TAKEN ANY NUMBER OF TIMES

Unlike classroom teaching, with online learning you can access the content an unlimited
number of times. This is especially required at the time of revision when preparing for an
exam. In traditional form of learning, if you can not attend the lecture, then you have to
prepare for that topic on your own; in eLearning, you can attend the lectures whenever you
want with ease.

OFFERS ACCESS TO UPDATED CONTENT

A prime benefit of learning online is that it makes sure that you are in synchronization with
modern learners. This enables the learner to access updated content whenever they want it.

QUICK DELIVERY OF LESSONS

eLearning is a way to provide quick delivery of lessons. As compared to traditional classroom

teaching method, this mode has relatively quick delivery cycles. This indicates that the time
required to learn is reduced to 25%-60% of what is required in traditional learning.
There are some of the reasons why the learning time is reduced by eLearning:

16
17
 Lessons starts quickly and also wrapped up in a single learning session. This enables
training programs to easily roll out within a few weeks, or sometime even days.
 Learners can define their own speed of learning instead of following the speed of the
whole group.
 Saves time as a student does not need to travel to the training venue. You can learn at
the comfort of your own place.
 Students can choose to study specific and relevant areas of the learning material
without focusing on each and every area. For example, they can skip certain areas they
do not want to learn.

SCALABILITY

eLearning helps in creating and communicating new training, policies, concepts, and ideas.
Whether it is for formal education or entertainment, eLearning is very quick way of learning!

CONSISTENCY

eLearning enables educators to get a higher degree of coverage to communicate the message
in a consistent way for their target audience. This ensures that all learners receive the same
type of training with this learning mode.

REDUCED COSTS

eLearning is cost effective as compared to traditional forms of learning. The reason for this
price reduction is because learning through this mode happens quickly and easily. A lot of
training time is reduced with respect to trainers, travel, course materials, and accommodation.

This cost effectiveness also helps in enhancing the profitability of an organization. Also,
when you are studying at your own place, you are relieved from paying for travel expenses
(e.g. accommodation) when training happens in another city/state and/or external learning
materials.

18
19
EFFECTIVENESS

eLearning has a positive influence on an organization’s profitability. It makes it easy to grasp

the content and digest it:

 It results in improved scores on certifications, tests, or other types of evaluation.

 Higher number of students who achieve ‘pass’ or mastery’ level.

 Enhanced ability to learn and implement the new processes or knowledge at the
workplace.

 Help in retaining information for a longer time.

REVIEW OF LITERATURE
17
Numerous researches and studies have been conducted upon the effectiveness of
various teaching-learning methods. Teaching-learning process has evolved drastically
over the years. Modern teaching-learning process uses the strategy of Constructivism.
Constructivism theorizes the fact that, learning is an individual activity. In the
Constructivist model, teacher does not behave as a sage on stage, but acts as a
facilitator of Learning. (Singh and sangeeta, 2015).

In the constructive learning process students do not sit idly remain as passive gainers
of knowledge but are active constructors of “knowledge through experience,
observation, documentation, analysis and reflection,” Constructivist teachers
encourage to constantly assess their understanding. Students in a constructivist
classroom attain expertise in learning through the act of self-questioning and
analyzing the strategies they undergo. (Bada and Steve, 2015).

Shumaila Bhutto and Imran Umer Chhapra (2013) in the paper, "Educational
Research on Constructivism - An Exploratory View," opines that teachers who are part
of the awareness of overall progress and the quality and quantity of support and
practical suggestions”. The training the teachers undergo and the qualitative and
quantitative assessments they make increase the validity of Constructive
methodology.Constructive methodology of teaching and learning can be applied to a
whole array of subjects.

Dr Sunita Singh and Sangeeta Yaduvanshi (2015) in the paper, “Constructivism in

science classroom: why and how,” propounded that “Constructivism is helpful in the
learning of Science in true sense i.e., not only as a body of knowledge but also as a
process for making sense of surroundings,” Students learning through constructive
approach “did have some impact on their performance in mathematics in terms of
their understanding and applicability and that they were able to 2013). Constructive
techniques ensure that learn difficult subjects with effectiveness and ease.
Constructivism enhances the students to be critical learners. Rote learning was a
strategy of the past modern learners learns by understanding the concept.

Renu Yadav (2016) in "Role of Constructivism in Learning," opines that in

theConstructive classroom, scaffolding helps the students to “develop the ability of
reflection,” It enhances their capacity to develop” critical voice and shared vision,
which helps to increase their academic output and also helps them to develop
leadership qualities and enhance “socio-emotional learning,”

In the modern education scenario, M-learning has a serious impact on the teaching-
learning process. Adnan Majeed (2015) in the paper, "Survey Paper on Mobile
Learning and Education," explicates that Mobile Learning transforms the entire
educational scenario and it has lot of business and education applications. Students
increasingly use smartphones, tablets, iPads, PDAs, online education apps to improve
productivity in their studies.

“Mobile learning apps can studies show that students have adequate Knowledge,
awareness and know-how of mobile technology and the internet. Students highly
agree that mobile learning apps are very important for their learning and research
purposes. Modern educational scenario expects that learners and instructors should
prepare themselves for the next generation of teaching and learning. Teachers should
have the technical skills to impart knowledge in an effective manner which can be

18
easily comprehensible to the students.

19
20
M-learning can help both the students and teachers to solve the problems of
“traditional learning system,”(Sarrab, Laila and Hamza, 2012). M- Learning access as
a handy system that interact with the learner and teacher and facilitates teaching-
learning process. Both teachers and students need a proper and handy system to
interact with each other and facilitate the teaching-learning process. “M-learning
systems are not to replace the traditional classrooms, but they can beused to
complement the learning process in our schools and universities,” (Sarrab, Laila and
Hamza,2012)

Rodovan, Vrana (2018) in” Acceptance of mobile technologies and M- learning in

Higher education Learning: An Explorative Study at the Faculty of Humanities and
Social Science at the University of Zagreb," says that mobile technology gets highly
integrated into the personal and working environment of the students. He suggests that
academic institutions should promote M-learning by incorporating it into their
curriculum.

Ann Marie Casanova (2018) in her paper, "Case study - Cultivating a love of learning
conceptual understanding that is Improving educational Outcomes in India (English),”
elucidates that Biju’s app “wants to revolutionize the way millions of students think
and learn” effectively. The app ensures that it cultivates a generation of learners who
have a curiosity present in them to learn more, dream more, and become more.

CONCLUSION

In this study we examined the perception of traditional learning to technology based

personalized learning in surat city with respect to different education e- learner by BYJU’S
and UNACADEMY and VEDANTU or topper and DOUBTNUT .The following conclusions
were derived from the study.

Yesterday’s luxuries are today’s necessities. Today, there are a number of education service
providers in the market and they offered various teaching services for the purpose of
schooling students , those who are doing a preparation of competitive exam and for a college
students.. But users prefer to avail services from favorite service providers due to various
reasons. It is cleared that the level of Premium, Audio of Teacher, Video Quality,
Presentations, Class Participation ,Attendance, Facing Technical Problems, Strict Level, Time
Discipline, Mis-leading Education ,Level of Punishment ,Quality of Test Series ,Quality of
Progress Report, and the students are considered these factors to decide the e- learner..

Indian scenario is the price sensitive scenario where people shift from one vendor to another
for very small difference of amount. But in the education and learning sense parents can’t
compromising because of students can make their carrier through learn and implementing the
theory to real worlds so the parents go their child to best education service provider rather
than the cost effective because of cost effective or less fee charge e-learner may be not
provided best quality education as well as train students as per other.

 From the analysis it is found that mostly students are studied in secondary and post
graduation because of i think this both standard is more important in carrier base as
well the future oriented because of after completion of 10 th students have to prepared
for their next study planning where they want to make their future and after post
graduation students have to applied their knowledge in real market so both the
standard is important for students that’s why they choose best and quality education
service provider.

 Based on the data we can concluding the now the scenario has change most of
students are go for technology learning instead of traditionally because of they are
taking good quality education , they are improving their performance, they are save
their time and affordable fee and course package can pull the students to take a e-
learning education.

 Students can get access to 50,000+ videos, tests, quizzes, games, interactive lessons,
and much more.. “Stop Memorising-Start Understanding” The movie-like videos help
you visualize and understand each concept. Once the concept is clearly understood,

 Corona pandemic , number of e-learning providing company are enter into the market
with highly qualified facility are reason for increasing the ratio of e-learning
education rather than traditional.

 Students can understand the concept and remove their problems theough good quality
education video, live examples, movie related examples, case study, practical
examples which all are providing in the e-leaning company that’s why students are
more preferred technology.

 Other companies have to required improve their teaching methods , hiring qualified
facility, reasonable fess etc so this are the key points which kept into the mind and
improve that so number of students can increasing
