Education is an industry which will always have a never-ending supply of input, producing
an equally long string of output. The game changer is the process, the infrastructure,
platform and the experience. VERTOCITY is an educator, an asset-light University with
three major pillars in its vision for the future of education: DREAM HIGH, ACHIEVE
HIGHER, those who have the necessary intellectual resources and facilities to develop
themselves and understand concepts. These students, while willing to pursue their
education, lack either the resources or worse, the right kind of exposure and teaching
methodologies. As a market for the VERTOCITY, is an obvious choice. The education
sector is relatively untouched, still a ‘blue ocean’ and at the same time, the ambition to do
well and compete directly with developed nations is rooted in the hearts of the masses. The
organization constantly researches on the top teaching methodologies and cutting-edge
technology to package the right kind of education for the relevant students. As a
Management Trainee, I was trained for technical role: Full Stack Web Development (Front
End and Back End). A detailed description of each of the roles and my key responsibilities
have been given in the various chapters and sub-topics in this report. This report is a
summary of the tasks accomplished by me on the project entitled “FULL STACK WEB
DEVELOPMENT” in my capacity as a part of technical team at VERTOCITY. It contains
details pertaining to the technical, functional and non-functional aspects of the project and
my training. It also gives an in-depth explanation of the methodology and procedure used,
why they were chosen, how it is being worked in our daily life and plans for the future.
 • INTRODUCTION OF THE COMPANY
• Company Profile:
Vertocity is an Indian Educational Technology Company Headquarters in Noida, India. And
corporated in the year 2020, By Ravi Teja Nadakudity. Vertocity was developed by Ivar kefi
Ventures Pvt Ltd, to provide learning and assessment products and Services. The Company is
now engaged in creating innovative, next-generation, self-paced learning solutions for renowned
educational institutions, corporations, individual learners worldwide. Vertocity believes that
Education is the most important asset a person can have, and the world is constantly progressing
over various methods of spreading it, we combine technological innovation with quality content
for continuous academic improvement and give the learner, the best and fruitful learning
experience. Vertocity Creates a Customized learning experience and personalized learning
programs for each learner. Vertocity is the place for the students to learn anything and
everything.

During the market research, it was observed that particularly in sub-urban areas, the private
schools face the challenges of innovating teaching methodologies. A pattern can be observed
as to why these schools are lacking basic necessities like a decent education. A few reasons
include.
Focus on theoretical learning: There is very little practical or hands-on experience that is
provided to students because of a lack of infrastructure.

• Incessant strikes in Colleges: The duration of a course is extended by 1-2 years due to
these strikes which are especially common in Public Universities.
• Pressure of winning: Tots are constantly pressurized to remember what their textbook
says, rather understand what it means. Irrelevant and obsolete syllabus: Many students
hardly find any practical purposes of the knowledge being taught.

• Little to no exposure to global updates and education: Students tend to remind

unaware of how the education sector is progressing all over the world to serve the
society.

This is where VERTOCITY comes into play. The organizations studies the teaching
methodologies and conducts a detailed analysis related to results, understanding,
satisfaction and the methodologies.

In recent years, India has emerged as a technologically advanced, meticulous country with a
well in place education system. It has people from different spheres excel on a global level.
From producing one of the smartest brains in the world to training professionals with the
premium quality tools and technology, India is doing it all. The key difference between
India and other countries, is the cost of education. Student’s get to experience a decent
quality education abroad, at a much lower cost than they normally would. To provide
students with an education which is linked to practically and purpose.
Vertocity gives the opportunity for student to work on small online projects that train them
in skills like Communication, Presentation, Creativity, Content Writing etc. By getting this
hands-on experience along with their regular classes, the student has more exposure and is
equipped with skills. Apart from this Vertocity used to teach Modern and updated Content
and Attracting Teaching Methodologies.

During the course of my Industrial training, I was trained for the following roles with each
one having different objectives and responsibilities:

Business Development: For Business Development, it is responsible for reaching out to

different organizations and businesses in order to tie up with them to provide them an
enriched learning experience. This would involve routine calls, heavily relying on
networking and my ability to be able to market the novel concept to the business owners.
 Organizational Development: This majorly had concerns with the business model and it’s
long term sustainability and understand the fosterers and hinders for the organizational
growth. I practiced organizational psychology to experiment various practices in the
operations vertical to boost results.

Operations Executive: This role is about engaging in any business activity as a full-time
employee of a company that involves the direct management, supervision or performance of
the ongoing development, production, marketing, sales or service of and for technologies,
products or services.

Marketing: For marketing our product, that is the VERTOCITY program, to our customers
and leads effectively, the chief requirement was good quality content on both our blog and
websites. I worked on developing high quality written content for our linkedin , blog,
Facebook and Instagram posts.

On job training: On Job Training is a collective framework designed by industry leaders

from all over the world which includes theoretical learning through live and recorded
modules along with Key certifications with practical approach sessions given by various
corporate leaders to help students understand the weight of practical approach followed by a

Summer Training Program:

Summer Training for engineering students now is an important requisite of the B. Tech Program

The primary step being in the technical team of vertocity is to constantly be on the lookout for
improving user experience in terms of both functionality and design perspective. Being updated
on the courses that are being added to the programs and adding those specific modules to the
website. Full Stack web developer helps you to keep every part of the system running

• Scope Of the work

As a Full Stack Developer, we will work with application and technical architects to translate a
business need into a robust and integrated technology solution. You will be working in a fast-
paced environment solving unique and challenging software problems and developing innovative
solutions.
The term ‘full stack’ represents the ability to work on both – front-end and back-end parts of the
application. Full stack development refers to the development of cutting-edge, modern, end-to-
end applications including frontend (client-side) and backend (server-side) development.

Becoming a full stack developer is almost like T-Shaped developers who not only possess deep
knowledge of any particular area but also familiar with a broad range of generalized concepts.
This will help them become all-rounders and difficult to replace. They are collaborative,
knowledgeable, and focused, significantly contributing to building happier, productive teams.
The future of Full stack developers seems promising as they have knowledge of every layer of
the development including presentation, business logic, and database layer. But, at the same
time, this role demands staying updated with a range of technologies and frameworks and
proficiency in more than one language/framework.

This Project is taken under Front-end. In this I have used html and css. The page I have created
with my own creation. I have used the background image, Title and logo.

• Importance and Applicability

Technology today is an ever-evolving field especially when it comes to development, where a
developer plays a key role and is required to upgrade his skill sets regularly to beat the
competition. And a full stack developer is important.

First let’s understand that a full stack developer is one with a knowledge of both front and back
end. A full stack developer can handle both the client and server software. They can combine
technologies and work in co-ordination with others in providing the desired results.

Prior to the hiring of full stack developers, specialized work force like front-end developers,
back-end developers, database engineers, testers, site reliability engineers etc. worked on
Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), but the rise of multiple frameworks, tools and
libraries has given an opportunity to developers in dealing with end to end software application
development, including the testing, building
and deploying applications.

• Role and Profile

I am working here from last few months as a Full stack developer intern and technical intern, my
responsibilities include :

• First the company will train the students to learn the full Stack Development course both
front end and backend technology.

• There will be recorded modules of 26 tutorials which we have complete in two months.

• In those tutorials we have to understand the topics and sub topics. Use of the contents.
How it is used, benefits of the tools.

• After learning the modules a test will be conducted and by qualifying the test will be
learning the live classes.

• By learning those modules we have to create a demo page. After that based on the
performance will be working as a full stack developer.

• After the completion of the intern based on performance will be getting rating.

• assessing the functionality of each module in the website, adding new features
 and courses to the existing page and working and improving user interfac

Brief description of the work done

• Position of Internship and role:

As the full stack developer Intern my tasks were majorly focused on revamping the website
based on suggestions given by the team leader. Working towards the design aesthetic of the
website along with functionality. Also work closely with other technical teams when needed.

Throughout the internship, I could constantly focus on Improving my technical skills by learning
through work, I could work not only with web development team but also Data analysis and
operations teams to understand how we as a organization can bring more tailored experience to
the customers.

But I have also improved the quality of work and reports. The clients have also appreciated the
organization for providing better report on their institutes.

On the organization development aspect, I could infer a lot about the real time functioning of a
company. The growth projects development has given me many perspectives about designing
projects for a company.

• Activities/ Equipment handled:

I majorly used html, php and python for web development and queries tools majorly used are ide,
Git hub and subline text3.

A few times I could interact with professors to understand how can we utilize more analytics
and have data driven approach in different organizations.

When working with Full Stack development team was the most exciting as I could browse
through different software like API and JavaScript which I have never used before. I used to
listen the classes and used to do the programming code and finally I created a demo page.

• Challenges faced and how those were tackled:

There were a lot of challenges faced during the internship some of them are mentioned below:

 At first I felt tensed and nervous to interact with teachers. I’m learning the course
for the first time I know only basic topics. But later I came across over new topics
taught by the teachers and managed to fulfill the company requirements.
 Time flexibility is one of the other challenges. I used to spend more time on the
course modules and implementing the code by own.
 As I’m from technical background my confidence itself learned how to use and
where to use and future requirements. 
 I used to complete the assignment in the given time and used to interact with my
group mates and trainee manager. 

• Learning Outcomes:
This whole internship was a whole great learning experience, we get to know so many new
things, we learnt about different prospects and different works of an organization.

Some of the learning’s are mentioned below:

 • Problem Solving: problem solving is yet another skill we leant. It lets us tackle any
difficult or complex code to be solved very easily. We were asked to give cut to cut
solution to a lot of problem while interning at the company.

• Industrial experience: In my past 4 months of internship in this ed-tech platform

made me gain a lot of real-time industrial experience. As Vertocity is one of the
fastest growing start-ups, which was just some months old, it enabled me to closely
observe how a start- up work and how our contribution can develop the firm in many
ways.

• Commitment and Patience: Dealing with different things at same point of time
with peace was a problem which I was facing a lot before this internship, but tasks
assigned always made me harness my patience and commitment toward my work,
which made me become more patient and committed to whatever I do.

We too learnt the interaction with our potential clients which leads a incredible relationship
building with them. And based on that we learnt approximately taking them from uncertainty to
the certainty level.

CONCLUSION:

Strategy and Planning are the key to success of any project and that is what was told to me
by our manager Anand Mishra, on the first day of the company joining. The importance of
planning is:

• To facilitate goals achievement

• To facilitate assessment
• To reduce risks and loss
• To make good decisions
• To carry out job division
• To determine opportunities and threats

VERTOCITY has been a primer in setting up a standard in education sector, with major
clients sourcing from esteemed associations has given me the opportunity to understand the
education world from the management point of view. I have thoroughly had a hands on
practice of my skills and an extravagant learning experience in terms of how organizations
function and operate. The operational I am doing for the organizations has sharpened my
communication skills and has helped me understand many new concepts about judging on
Full stack Development. Designing growth projects for the organization, I have learnt about
the long run thought process of an organization and the sustainability required in the
smallest operations to grow.
Full-stack web development is not about “knowing it all”, it’s about being able to adapt your
knowledge to project requirements. There is no fast track to becoming good in this industry; the
road to success is paved with hard work, dedication, talent, and enough learning material.

FUTURE PLANS FOR THE PROJECT

In the next phase of expansions, VERTOCITY is planning to expand in Sri Lanka, Bangladesh,
Pakistan and South African Countries.
