to experience cleanliness, calmness, to feel relaxed and have some peace when they are

When it comes to the graphics, the logo has a nursing cap and a heart-shaped
stethoscope. These two graphics are recognized as associated with the nursing
profession. Nursing caps originally served as an acknowledgment to the deaconesses who

attended to and provide care for the ill and dying. It was emphasized by Florence
Nightingale wherein, she aimed to preserve the tradition of the nursing cap by providing
nurses with a distinctive appearance (Berg, 2022). The nursing cap represents the nurse's
mission, which is to "serve those in need." The cap also represents the profession's
timeless ideals of commitment, honesty, discernment, and faith. The stethoscope signifies
a nurse’s dedication to caring for their patients’ health as well as for them as individuals.

Demographic Profile
Figure 1 Distribution of the Respondents by Age
Figure 1 shows that majority of the respondents are 21 years with 43.4% (n=56),
followed by 22 years old that with 24.8% (n=32), next is 20 years old with 17.8% (n=23),
then followed by 23 years old with 5.4% (n=7), next is 19 and 18 years old with 4.7%
(n=6) and 3.1% (n=4) respectively, and lastly 17 years old with 0.8% (n=1). The data
represents that nursing students who are 21 years old expressed their intent to use the
application.

Presented in Figure 2 is the representation of respondents who answered the
survey. Majority of the respondents were female with 62% (n=80) and there were 37.2%
(n=48) male respondents. While only 0.8% (n=1) preferred not to say it. .The figure
shows that female respondents are higher than male which is expected in the nursing
program.

Figure 3 as shown represents the civil status of the respondents categorized as
single, married and separated. The respondents answered single as their civil status with
100% (n=129). This shows that most of the respondents are young adults which
correlates with the age aforementioned above.

Figure 4 represents the year level who answered the survey. Majority of the
respondents were classified as fourth year nursing students with 62% (n=80), and
followed by third year nursing students with 20.2% (n=26). There are respondents who
answered the survey in second year nursing students with 10.1% (n=13) and first year
nursing students with 7.8% (n=10). The figures show that fourth year nursing students
would love to try and look forward to this application.

Figure 5 shows the distribution of preferred study techniques by the respondents.
In this figure, the majority of the respondents preferred the PQ4R as their study
techniques with 35.7% (n=46) and followed by the SQ3R with 25.6% (n=33). Some
respondents preferred to use Feynman Technique with 20.9% (n=27), Leitner System
with 12.4% (n=16), and Mind Mapping with 5.4% (n=7) as their study techniques. In
conclusion, the majority of the respondents preferred to use the technique of PQ3R
(Preview, Question, Read, Reflect, Recite and then Review), which can help students to
improve their memorization and to understand the topic.

The figure above shows the effectiveness of the review methods of the
respondents wherein, the majority of the respondents' current review methods are
effective with 51.2% (n=66). Some of the respondents answered that their review method
is somewhat effective with 25.6% (n=33) and there are respondents who answered very
effective with 23.3% (n=30). While there were no respondents answered not effective. To
conclude this figure, the respondents find their current review methods effective for them.

to the respondents. The majority of the respondents find self-study applications useful for
them as students with 92.2% (n=119) by answering yes while there are respondents who

respondents answered somehow with 0.8% (n=1), and sometimes with 0.8% (n=1). The
result shows that a great number of respondents find self-study applications useful for
them as a student.

learning applications when studying. Majority of the respondents used learning
applications in studying weekly with 53.5% (n=69) and followed by 28.7% (n=37)

respondents who never tried to use learning applications when studying. The results show
that the majority of the respondents are using learning applications weekly when they are
studying.

studying. Majority of the respondents spend their time each day studying for 1 - 3 hours

for more than 7 hours with 13.2% (n=17). The results show that most of the respondents
are giving their 1 - 3 hours on studying each day.

Figure 11 shows the distribution of preferred application of the respondents when
accessing nursing review materials. There are 51.2% (n=66) respondents who prefer to
use a mobile application while the respondents who prefer to use a web-based application
has 48.8% (n=63). The results show that the majority of the respondents prefer to utilize a
mobile application for accessing nursing review materials.

visited to study. Majority of the respondents visited the Quizlet to study with 45.7%

respondents who use YouTube with 20.9% (n=27). Lastly, there are some respondents
who use Khan Academy with 2.3% (n=3) and Nurselabs with 0.8% (n=1). As the results

show that the majority of the respondents usually visited the Quizlet when they were
studying.

Figure 13 shows the distribution of the obtained online information that the
respondents’ get online the teachings and directions that is given by their professors.
There are 93.8% (n=121) respondents who answered that they get the information
through online while there are 6.2% (n=8) respondents who answered that they have not.
The result shows that the majority of the respondents can obtained online informations
that matches the teachings and directions given by their professors.

their regularly used device for browsing web information, while laptops 34.9% (n=45),
tablets 14% (n= 18), and computers, the least used device has 7% (n=9). It indicates that
most of the respondents used their mobile phones more conveniently and had an easy
access that can get information that you need anywhere and anytime you like.

of the respondents prefer printed materials as their tools for learning.

This figure 17 presents the preferred features that the respondents are looking for
in a learning application. Majority is the testing knowledge with 80.6% (n=104), This is

followed by interactive content with 71.3% (n=92). Next, is the live tutorials and sessions
with 67.4% (n=87). About 64.3% (n=83) of the respondents prefer the offline mode.
Then, multilingual addresses with 33.3% (n=43), and the 28.7% (n=37) remaining
respondents answered the robust database and sharing. With the data, this concludes that
respondents are looking for a learning application that has a feature that can test their
knowledge.

application. Majority of the respondents 57.4% (n=74) preferred to pay PHP 50 per

year) with a total respondents of 25.6% (n=33). Then, 17.1% (n=22) respondents for PHP
100 per month (PHP 1000.00 per year). As a result, the respondents prefer more
affordable, yet accessible learning resources.

main factor that affects their purchasing decision. It is then followed by the Reviews with

decision is the Price with a total of 20.2% (n=26) respondents. It means that the majority
of the respondents will look for the quality of the application.
