1. What are the different models of disability? How do they define disability?

Different models of disability are: Moral/Religious Model, The

Functional/Rehabilitation Model, The Biomedical/Individual Model, The Social
Model and Rights-Based Model and Twin Track Approach. Disability is a term used
to describe a condition or impairment that limits a person's abilities in some way. It
can refer to physical, mental, or sensory challenges that affect a person's daily life
and participation in society.

2. How important are the models of disability? How can these affect the students?

The models of disability are very important because they affect how people
think about and treat individuals with disabilities. There are different models that
have different ideas about disabilities. These models can have a big impact on
students with disabilities. If people believe in the bio-medical model, they might
think that students need to be fixed or helped. But if people believe in the social
model, they might think that it's more important to change society to make it
easier for students with disabilities to be included and succeed.

3. What is special needs education? How different is it from inclusive education?

Special needs education is when students with disabilities or special needs

receive personalized education and support. It means that their learning is adjusted
to meet their individual needs. Inclusive education, on the other hand, is about
making sure that all students, regardless of their abilities or disabilities, can learn
together in the same classroom. It's about creating an environment where
everyone feels included and supported. So, special needs education focuses on
specific needs, while inclusive education focuses on including everyone.
