Student’s working day

When I was enrolled to the university, my routine has changed dramatically. At first, I couldn’t get
used to the life in the hall of residence. There everything is more complicated than at home – you have
to do the cooking, shopping, cleaning by yourself, spend money rationally and be more responsible.
When the classes were offline, my working day was more productive and tiring. Every day I got up
before dawn to get ready to go to the university. As, I am a late riser and enjoy having a lie – in, at first,
I had some troubles with arriving in time. However, I have developed a habit to get up earlier and jog. It
really helps not to be sleepy and then you won’t suffer from insomnia. Although, there are some days,
when I am in low spirit. In such days, I look miserable, I won’t speak to anyone and one thing I dream
about is to sleep the clock round. Sometimes, when I oversleep, I rush like mad not to skip the
underground, because now it’s important for me to arrive in time. The attendance in the university is
compulsory, that’s why if you miss the class, you will take risk to face the music with the Dean. During
the classes, I try to participate in the discussions and get excellent marks. After classes, I return to the
dormitory. I don’t take part in various societies, as I am pretty tired after the studying. It takes some
doing to get on the underground in a rush hour. Sometimes I understand, that I am sick and tired of this
schedule and can even lose my temper. The mind, that I should make a report for tomorrow or do
housework makes me more nervous. Finally, when I get to my room, I start cleaning it and then do the
cooking. Afterwards, I do my homework and call my mum, that everything is good there. After this, I
take a shower, repeat necessary material for the classes and go to sleep. Usually, I have an early night
and as I am constantly short of time, I am a heavy sleeper. Anyway, I have already taken to the
university life, however, I can’t deny, that I’m waiting for the weekends to spend my spare time to
heart’s content.
