Activity: EmpowerEd: Financial Literacy Seminar

Date: October 12, 2023

On October 12, 2023, the CBEA CollSC executed a seminar in room 103. In which are

participated by the freshie students to guide them in financial Literacy.

The said seminar was hosted by Mr. Jayson Inay (CollSC Governor), who guided the

program's smooth flow. With that, the prayer was led by Ms. Dexine Domique Enriquez and

followed by the national anthem which was conducted by Ms. Raiza Mae Agustin.

To open the seminar with a knowledgeable agenda for financial literacy, the college dean

Rey D. Viloria addressed his opening remarks with pure Tagalog messages.

As followed by the reading of the objectives by Ms. Vicma Cacatian (CollSC Secretary)

in which she stated the rationale of the seminar for better comprehension of students regarding

the topic.

Moreover, Ms. Joanna Rose U. Panergo introduced the speaker of the seminar. And, she

is Ms. Imerinciana Mitam C. Aquino, a current faculty member of CSU-SM CBEA.

Then, Ms. Aquino highlighted the methods in Financial Literacy and focused on saving,

which fits the student’s economic status. She also added some tactics for students to follow as a

starter kit for saving. After her valuable talk, the governor gave Ms. Aquino a token of

appreciation and a certificate for allowing us to share her ample time to educate the freshie

students on personal finances.

To end, Ms. Kiesrten M. Agag (CollSC Board Member) made her talk to thank the

individuals who helped the CollSC officers achieve the successful flow of the seminar.
