APPAREL MATERIALS STANDARDS MANUAL

APPAREL, FABRIC & TRIM PERFORMANCE TESTING

Questions: Fabric.Standards@target.com

The Target Apparel Materials Standards Manual is provided as an accommodation only, and for the business partner's consideration. This manual may not
include all requirements that a business partner's product must meet. It is the business partner's responsibility to ensure that the products (including packaging)
they sell to Target comply with all laws, rules, regulations, standards, codes, orders, directives, judicial and administrative decisions, and ordinances, of the
country of origin, the country of transit, the United States, any state, territory or other subdivision thereof. A satisfactory lab test result does not constitute a
certification that a business partner's products meet all legal and/or Target requirements. It is the business partner's responsibility to manufacture their items to
comply with all applicable laws and industry standards, and in conformance with the requirements found on Partners Online or any other website used by Target.
Target reserves the right to amend its manuals at any time.

Selling Target any merchandise that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of third parties is a breach of business partner's contract with Target. This
includes the use of counterfeits trims, such as zippers. We expect that vendors will not only comply with all Target programs but they will always exercise
independent diligence to ensure that no element of any product is violate of another's trademarks, patents or copyrights.

All safety and regulatory standards provided in the manual are general guidelines.
Please contact 3rd party laboratory for latest version of the protocols and requirements.
Additionally, for children's apparel, vendors should review the "Children's Design Safety Guide" on POL.

"Dry Clean Only" cannot be used without prior approval from the fabric team (Fabric.Standards@target.com). Shrinkage for one cycle of dry-cleaning care should not exceed 2% for wovens.

The care instructions provided in this document may not be appropriate for multi-layer/lined garments. Constructed (lined) jackets may require to be Dry Clean Only.

If the business partner identifies the fabric is being used for "OUTERWEAR" and the fabric has a minimum of 30% Wool then the fabric must be tested against one dry cleaning cycle (AATCC
