Reard and research or study related to Learner-centered psychological
principles.

Problem
The main focus of rhis research is to describe the motivating factors to
achieve higher academic performance among SHS student of Marciano
Dahan High School.

Research Methodology
This study was used descriptive-research, employing quantitative
method.Descriptive can be explained as a present with the researcher
having no control over variable.
Descriptive design is appropriate to be used in this study since it aimed
to know the motivating factors to achieve higher academic
performance among SHS students.

Findings
Base on the findings of the study, most of the respondent dominate the
intrinsic motivation is commonly practice by the students of Marciano
Dahan High School

Conclusion
Intrinsic and Extrinsic motivation were factor of higher academic
performance of students in Marciano Dahan High School.but Intrinsic
motivation is commonly associated to higher academic performance
than Extrinsic motivation.
