What are the key concepts that you have learned in this session?

Answer:

This webinar namely “Excel in Microsoft Excel: Practical Uses of MS Excel in


Education” that was again facilitated by Ms. Faye Marie Ilano was main objective to educate us
the proper use of excel and how the use it in daily day of work. The main key concept or ideas
that I have learned in the session is on how to sort properly the items, right way of setting
names into upper, lower and proper format , adding or inserting charts, inserting formulas,
adding tables, selecting the area of the item or text that must be or targeted to be print and
lastly how to print correctly the excel files.

How can you integrate this in teaching and in the field of education?

Answer:

As an educator I can easily integrate or relate the new learning form the webinar in
teaching while making a series of activities using excel for example arranging the names of
students in activity in that way I can easily access their name easily and as a shs aspirant
teacher I can easily teach my future student specially in business related program which is
accounting and bookkeeping wherein taxation and other computation related is needed
specially when they are interested to pursue to corporate world in line with the said program . f

In the field of education when there is a report to be done , example arranging or


creating report of grades of students with this new learning like inserting and sorting properly
their names and grades I can easily generate the final output easily.

Answer:

In attending the webinar “Excel in Microsoft Excel: Practical Uses of MS Excel in


Education” that was conducted by Edtech Teachers Learning center, Ms. Ilano discussed the
bsic fundamentals and proper use of excel in education. she explains on how the user can
easily access and execute Ms Excel such as the proper typing of text, sorting of the item either
the name or the number prospect of the text , setting easily the names or text to upper, lower
and proper case which I am difficult to do before watching the webinar, proper way to insert
and add tables to the excel, generating grade by using different kind of formula in insert
formula, adding new excel sheet when the pc is restricting the app.

Proper selection of area of printing was also discussed which I struggle a lot when
printing reports. Ms Ilao explained that the user must highlight the target text to be printed and
click the area to be printed while click the print and set it to proper dimension whether it is
portrait or landscape, also the text fit according to its paper size. Over all this webinar gave me
new ideas and innovation to my future skills in Ms Excel.
