INTRODUCTION: The universe is everything, from the tiniest particles to the largest

galaxies, to the very existence of space-time, and life. The origin of the universe is the
origin of everything. Multiple scientific theories, plus creation myths from around the
world have sought to explain its mysterious genesis, but has the universe had a
beginning, or was it here forever? How can that be? How can something come from
nothing? How old is the universe? And how did it begin? However, the most widely
accepted explanation is the Big Bang Theory. The Big Bang Theory states that the
cosmos started off as a hot, infinitely dense point. It was only a few millimeters across
and resembled a supercharged black hole. This tiny singularity violently exploded 13.7
billion years ago. The creation of all matter, energy, space, and time resulted from this
explosion. The radiation and matter eras, which are defined by significant events that
helped shape the cosmos, are the two subsequent major stages of the universe's
evolution.
A wide range of empirical evidence strongly favors the Big Bang event, which is
now essentially universally accepted. Detailed measurements of the expansion rate of
the universe place the Big Bang singularity at an estimated 13.787±0.020 billion years
ago, which is considered the age of the universe.

What's This Big Bang All About?

In 1927, an astronomer named Georges Lemaître had a big idea. He said that a
very long time ago, the universe started as just a single point. He said the universe
stretched and expanded to get as big as it is now, and that it could keep on stretching.

Scientific knowledge is gained primarily through the experimental method: a

hypothesis is formulated and then experiments are designed to test the hypothesis.
Religion, in contrast, tends to focus on the spiritual realm, whose numerous
components may not always be observable and measurable to the same extent as
science.

We are not against the theory based on religion. But, what we are talking about is
the most influential one. When we say “influential”, it should have variety and accurate
pieces of evidence; it should be powerful. Now, we are saying that those theories
based on science are the most influential as it has been studied and supported by
many professionals. Again, Big Bang Theory came from the studies of professional
people while the theory based on religion came from the beliefs of religious people.
Just think about when you want to find out where a particular thing originates. You
need to find evidences or something that is connected to it. You have to base on that
study and not on those beliefs like legends.
Today, cosmologists have fairly precise and accurate measurements of many of
the parameters of the Big Bang model, not to mention the age of the Universe itself.
And it all began with the noted observation that massive stellar objects, many light
years distant, were slowly moving away from us. And while we still are not sure how it
will all end, we do know that on a cosmological scale, that won't be for a long, LONG
time!

ENDING: We are now convinced that science is the best way to create reliable
information. It is a collaborative and cumulative process of evaluating the evidence that
results in information that is more accurate and reliable.
