Objectives : To orient teachers on the 21st Century Skills and ICT Integration in Instruction
& Assessment

V. RESULTS

1. The teachers acquired a clear understanding on how to use ICT tools in the lesson delivery.

2. The teachers were able to make examples/outputs of the EdTech Tools that were introduced
to them.

2. The activity was successful in its aim of orienting the teachers.

VI. PARTICIPANTS’ FEEDBACK

1. Methodology
:
Day 1: The activity started with the preliminaries and the speaker discussed right away the
topic on how to integrate ICT in the teaching learning process. The speaker presented the
important reasons why teachers should use ICT that include the following:
• Motivation
• Distinctive instructional abilities
• Higher productivity of teachers
• Essential skills for information age
• Support for new teaching techniques.

All teachers were given the opportunity to air their ideas on these topics.

Day 2: On the second day, a review of the previous topic was done. Then the topic proper
was then thoroughly discussed. The school head presented the current trends in the use of
ICT in assessing learning outcomes. She emphasized the various roles of ICT in
assessment which are the following:
 Helpful to teachers because students’ information and results of examination can be
recorded and stored and can easily be retrieved.
 Teachers can right away give feedback to students on the results of assessment.
 Feedback from computers during the use of test material improves student
performance in later use of the same test material.

Interesting discussion and exchanging of ideas ensued that made the day successful and
refreshing.

VIII. RECOMMENDATION

EdTech tools should be practiced/utilized to aid the teachers in making their worksheets
interactive.
