norms. Through careful observation, I have come to admire her analytical and creative mindset, exceptional

I am writing this reference letter with great pleasure on behalf of Mr. Zuhaib Iqbal Cheema in support of
his application for admission in Master’s program at your prestigious institute. I am a full time Assistant
Professor at the Department of Architecture, COMSATS University Islamabad – Lahore Campus.

I have known Mr. Cheema as a student since 2010 as his Architectural Technologies instructor in 3 rd & 4th
year of his graduation studies. The course was run as a Seminar Course and involved class discussions
under the guidance and direction of the instructors and exercises that were designed to form a synergy
between the course and the design studio. Working with Mr. Cheema during that time was a great
pleasure because of his sheer commitment to his work. What made him stand out particularly was his
inquisitiveness, keen interest in research and his ability to grasp the technological concepts discussed
during the course.

During his time in the Department, I was able to witness his evolving abilities and academic interests,
vital to the contemporary issues of the local and global architectural discourse. It was also great to work
with him, as besides being of a cheerful disposition, he retains his individuality while being a team player
and displays excellent interpersonal skills.
