STATEMENT OF PURPOSE

Born in a humble and educated family, I was home to knowledge acquisition. With this ideology I have
completed my 10th and 12th successfully from Delhi Public School, Megacity and Delhi Public School,
Ruby Park respectively. Both these institutions actually helped in a holistic development of me as an
individual. After this I went on to complete my B Tech in Chemical Engineering from SRM Institute
of Science and Technology in Chennai. I have gained analytical and quantitative skill-set from my
education so far.
Throughout my Engineering phase of 4 years, I got the opportunity to do internship in few of the top
companies in the country like Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited, Tata Robins Fraser and Pepsico
Ltd. All these companies were actually more chemical inclined companies and that actually gave me a
better perspective about the corporate culture and led me to a position where I can independently pave
a path for my career.
Having been in the corporate sector, specifically in Sales domain, for about 18 months, I have gained
hands-on experience as to how the business works at the ground root level. In my tenure I had the
opportunity to work for 2 multinational companies, Byju’s and Simplilearn. In both the companies my
primary objective was Customer Acquisition, but the working model and infrastructure were totally
separate from one another. This actually helped me in widening my areas of expertise and also helped
me grow as a confident working professional.
My greatest strength is my perseverance and sincerity in all my tasks. I manage time well and am very
result oriented. I consider myself to be very adaptive in all the situations. Along with it I also have a
knack of learning new things. I am very principled in my approach to life and work and place my
integrity above all.
What I may consider as my liabilities is my emotional nature which can affect my work adversely. I
give high importance to my family and close relatives and it may affect my work in case of a conflict.
I feel that I am capable of handling multiple responsibility, and throughout my Engineering and my
Work Experience, somewhere or the other I was responsible for either conducting an event or to helping
others clear their doubts and queries. For instance, in my Engineering days I was the Event Coordinator
in our National Level Techno-Management Fest, “Aaruush”, and I coordinated the event of “Texas
Hold’em Poker”, which actually saw 2nd highest participation amongst all the other events with more
than 600+ entries.
I believe these are the actual skill-set required to be an efficient POC (Point of Contact), where one will
definitely come across with multiple doubts and queries from their batchmates, but I intend to take care
of all queries with utmost profession. I believe my experience in Sales and my background in
Engineering will allow me to adapt, adopt and understand the responsibility and to implement the same
in a seamless way.
