V. DISCUSSION

1. UNFINISHED BUSINESS

➢ Birthday E-Poster

The Marketing, Information, and Dissemination Unit, under the

leadership of Marketing Manager Filamie Joy Sami, has actively

undertaken the responsibility of updating stakeholders on the

current status of the development of the birthday e-poster project.

According to Sami, the progress of the birthday e-poster is

proceeding deliberately, as the team is meticulously addressing

minor revisions to ensure its quality and effectiveness. While there

exists a preliminary format and outline for the birthday e-poster,

it is still undergoing refinement and awaits approval from key

decision-makers, namely the Head of M.I.D., Jay Christian Garcia,

and the Founding Artistic Director of TD, Mr. Jann Dainver

Maravilla. This collaborative process underscores the unit's

commitment to delivering a polished and impactful final product,

aligning with the organization's standards of excellence.

‘Bantawan’ e-newsletter

➢ The M.I.D. unit has established a new arm known as the Bantawan
Writers, comprising talented individuals tasked with collaborating
on the Teyatro Dasuliman newspaper's publication. This initiative is
spearheaded by Batch Bagani Ivor Predriña, who also serves as the
M.I.D. unit's editor-in-chief. With a focus on capturing the
noteworthy achievements of Teyatro Dasuliman throughout the
year, the Bantawan News Writers diligently gather essential
information, including event details and press releases. Under the
leadership of Ivor Predriña, the team ensures the accuracy and
efficiency of information dissemination within the newsletter's
articles. This is facilitated by the collaboration with the M.I.D.
Associate Editor, John Carlo Erojo, that will play a pivotal role in
refining and enhancing the quality of the publication. Together, they
strive to maintain the newspaper's integrity and relevance within the
community it serves.

TD Active Batches’ Personal Info

➢ Joshua Escuadro, the Manager of Management Information Systems

(M.I.S), plays a pivotal role in handling the personal information of
the Teyatro Dasuliman batches. Within his purview, he is responsible
for the comprehensive management and utilization of this data.
As the custodian of such sensitive information, Escuadro oversees
its collection, storage, organization, and security. His primary focus
lies in ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and accessibility of the
Teyatro Dasuliman members' personal data, adhering to relevant
privacy regulations and company policies. In addition to managing
the data lifecycle, Escuadro likely collaborates with other
stakeholders, such as legal teams and IT professionals, to
implement robust data protection measures and develop efficient
information management strategies. Through his diligent efforts,
Escuadro contributes to the smooth operation and safeguarding of
the Teyatro Dasuliman's personal information, thereby upholding
the trust and confidence of its members.

Online Marketing Course

➢ The M.I.D. unit initiated a discussion regarding the Online

Marketing Course, which was a mandatory requirement for all
officers enrolled by the Teyatro Dasuliman Founding Artistic
Director, Jann Dainver Maravilla, during the first semester.
While the majority of officers successfully completed the course
within the stipulated timeframe, there were some who were
unable to meet the given deadline.
Concerns were raised about the impending expiration of the course
link on the website, potentially rendering it inaccessible for those
who hadn't completed it. This issue will be escalated to the artistic
director for consideration in implementing a new online marketing
course, ensuring all officers have the opportunity to fulfill this
requirement.

NEW BUSINESS

Bantawan Official Logo

➢ During the meeting, there was a proposal put forward regarding the
development of the official logo for the BANTAWAN e-newsletter
within Teyatro Dasuliman. The proposal, suggested by the head of
M.I.D., was thoroughly discussed among the officer’s present. After
deliberation, the officers reached a consensus and agreed to proceed
with the creation of the BANTAWAN logo as outlined by the head. It
was emphasized that the primary role of the M.I.D. unit would be to
collaborate closely with the company's marketing department,
highlighting the importance of branding and image development
within Teyatro Dasuliman's overall strategy. This decision marks an
important step in solidifying the organization's visual identity and
enhancing its presence in the market.
Editor-in-chief Updates/Report

➢ Ivor Predriña, the Editor-in-Chief of Bantawan newspaper, recently

provided a comprehensive update on the progress of our ongoing
project. In his address, he emphasized the critical need for additional
manpower, as the influx of articles is steadily increasing. With a
plethora of topics waiting to be covered, the commencement of
article writing for the newspaper is imminent. In light of this, Mr.
Predriña has requested the identification of potential writers who
could join our team, thereby enhancing productivity within the new
Bantawan unit. This call for additional personnel underscores the
importance of assembling a dynamic and skilled workforce to meet
the demands of our expanding operations.

Adoption and Creation of Internal Rules and Procedures

➢ The M.I.D. Head, Jay Christian Garcia, has put forward a

comprehensive plan aimed at implementing a set of rules and
regulations within the marketing unit. His proposal revolves
around the notion that establishing clear guidelines and effective
measurements can significantly enhance the team's organization
and efficiency. By delineating specific protocols and benchmarks,
Garcia envisions a more structured and disciplined approach to the
unit's operations.
This initiative seeks to instill a sense of order and discipline,

enabling the unit to operate with greater cohesion and effectiveness.

Garcia's emphasis on establishing measurable criteria underscores

the importance of accountability and performance evaluation within

the marketing unit. Through this proposed framework, he aims to

streamline processes, optimize resource allocation, and ultimately

foster a culture of excellence and productivity within the team.

Official Welcoming of the Newly 4-Appointed Editorial Writer

➢ The M.I.D. unit meeting has recently made an important

announcement regarding the official welcoming of appointed

editorial board writers. While the announcement has not been

made public yet, the Unit has been meticulous in its selection

process, ensuring that only individuals who truly fit the editorial

field have been chosen for these positions. This careful

consideration underscores the Unit's commitment to maintaining

high standards and ensuring that the editorial board comprises

individuals who are well-suited for their roles.

Appointment of the New Web Page Manager

➢ The M.I.D. unit recently underwent a mini nomination process to

select a new Web Page Manager. The previous manager, Jedidiah
Marjol Esperagoza, resigned from the position to focus on his
department in Teyatro Dasuliman. In his place, Ram Ruel Paman,
the Film Division Videographer, was nominated and ultimately
chosen for the role. The decision to appoint Paman was based on his
alignment with the envisioned content for Teyatro Dasuliman's
website. Paman's experience and expertise in videography were seen
as valuable assets for shaping the online presence of the
organization. The head of the M.I.D. Unit, Jay Christian Garcia,
observed this decision as an efficient choice for the team.

OTHER MATTERS/PROPOSALS

M.I.S.: Biometrics Time-in/Time-out

➢ Biometrics for time-in and time-out tracking play a pivotal role in the
operations of the M.I.D. Unit by providing a reliable and secure method
for recording members and officers’ attendance. By utilizing biometric
data, such as fingerprints or facial recognition, the system ensures
accurate timekeeping, which is essential for efficient resource
management.

Weekly Vlogs

➢ To market the Teyatro Dasuliman social media pages, the Marketing

and Information Dissemination (M.I.D.) unit devised a strategy
centered around a weekly vlog series aimed at enhancing audience
engagement. The primary goal was to highlight the exceptional
talents of TD artists while also shedding light on various significant
aspects of Teyatro Dasuliman. Led by the M.I.D. Unit Head, Jay
Christian Garcia, the team proposed a collaboration with the
currently inactive Film Division to leverage their expertise and
resources.

Several members of the Film Division, who had transitioned to the

M.I.D. Unit, recognized the potential synergy between the Film
Division's previous projects and the proposed weekly vlog series.
This realization prompted a collaborative effort to align the content
of the vlogs with the themes explored in past Film Division projects.

Brainstorming sessions ensued, generating a plethora of ideas for

potential vlog content. The team members contributed their insights,
suggestions, and creative concepts, fostering a collaborative and
dynamic environment within the unit. As a result, the project gained
momentum, fueled by the collective enthusiasm and expertise of the
team members.
Executive/MiddleManagement/Unit/Department/Division Officers photoshoot

for organizational/Company Structure.

➢ The M.I.D. Unit is advocating for a comprehensive structural

photoshoot to be conducted for each department and division within

Teyatro Dasuliman. The primary objective is to visually present the

organizational structure of the company's various units, thereby

providing clarity and transparency regarding roles and

responsibilities. Additionally, discussions have been held within the

unit regarding the attire to be worn during the photoshoot, with a

consensus leaning towards formal attire to maintain a professional and

cohesive aesthetic across all departments and divisions. This initiative

underscores the importance of effective communication and visual

representation within the organization, fostering a cohesive and

unified corporate identity.
