● Components → Terrain Data Manager (before finish) → use (.tif) → then
finish
● GIS → coordinate system → predefined → UTM (zone) → datum → WGS84
→ select → set
● Basin 1 → (panel on the bottom left) edit terrain data as Terrain 1 → Click
terrain
● GIS → Preprocess Sinks
● GIS → Preprocess Drainage
● GIS → Identify Streams
● GIS → Breakpoint Manager → Import → (.shp file)

Note: Use Global Mapper or QGIS in using shapefile

● GIS → Delineate Elements


● Delineate Elements Options (always put _)

Subbasin Prefix : s_

Reach Prefix : r_

Insert Junction : yes

Junction Prefix : j_

● Delineate!

l Delineate
● Parameters → Subbasin Area
● Parameters → Characteristics →Subbasin and Reach
● Put the data given in characteristics in the excel!

● Open to google earth (Extract here!)


● Google earth → open file → all file (shapefile)
● Right click → file → properties → style, color, width → 5
● Add path → Click 2 points →ok
● Right click → show elevation

● Parameter → Loss → SCS Curve Number


● Transform → Clark Unit Hydrograph
● Base flow → Recession
● Routing → Muskingum - Cunge

● Input data in Excel

Note: Recession Constant = 1.0

Ratio to Peak = 0.5

Index flow = 10 (if computed; update the index flow using the
computed data
● Input Rainfall data → components → meteorologic model →new → 100 year
● Upper left → meteorologic model
● Click met 100 →precipitation → frequency storm
● Basin → yes
● Click frequency storm → intensity duration → 30 mins

Note: Edit depth if you know the location

● Components → Control Specs → New → Control 1 day

Start date : 01Jan2000

End date : 02Jan2000

Description : for 24 hours

● Compute → Create Compute → Simulation Run → Compute
