TDS of PVC Processing Aid LP 40

LP-40 is a medium molecular weight acrylic based copolymer processing aid for PVC
applications including high output extrusion and injection. It efficiently improves the melt
elasticity, melt strength and sizing of rigid PVC through the use of LP-40.

0.2phr Cast 0.5phr CaCO3 10phr Samples 1phr

When compared to conventional processing aid, LP-40 has the FAST fusion time and
melt strength. This may improve processing flexibility for an application requires
different processing conditions (example: pipes, fittings, and profile extrusion)

STORAGE & HANDLING

LP-40 should be kept away from flames and other sources of heat.
The Product should be stored in cool and ventilated area. Adequate precautions should
be taken to keep all dust levels below values that are hazardous to health and safety. In
case of eye or skin contacts, eyes should be flushed immediately with fresh water to
remove dust particles and affected skin areas should be washed with soap and water.
