COASTAL CLEAN UP DRIVE

23rd day of January, 2024 and its Tuesday,

we ask permission to the Barangay Captain of Sto.
Niño, Tukuran, Zamboanga del sur to conduct a
coastal cleanup drive at Purok Alibang-bang. On
January 24, 2024, we conducted the coastal
cleanup drive. All the grade 12-HUMSS students
participated the activity and we did it with Ma'am
Theresa Piamonte. We bring sacks for the garbage
disposal.

We've enjoyed and helped each

other so we finished it quickly. After we
did the coastal cleanup drive, we also
clean the canals in front of the school so
that we can avoid illnesses such as
dengue.

Therefore, it is essential to clean

our surroundings and we must
volunteer/participate every
program/activity for cleaning up
our surroundings so that it will
secure our safety and we can
prevent any diseases.
ZUMBA ACTIVITY

On Jan. 29, 2024 and

its Monday, after the flag
ceremony we did a zumba
activity and led by me,
Danna and Jeany. We dance
the Hand clap zumba dance
and most of the students
know this dance. So, all the
students of Hyrons College
Philippines Inc. participated
the Zumba activity and we've
enjoyed and it energizes us.

Furthermore, After the Zumba

activity we did a cleanup activity, we
picked the garbage and we put it on the
sack. In overall activity that we did, we
realize that We must do exercise daily so
that our body will have energy and we
can burn some calories.

Then, we must
clean our
surroundings, every
garbage that we
have and we see, we
must dispose it
properly.
MENTAL HEALTH AWARENESS PROGRAM

On Jan. 30, 2024, We did a

mental health awareness program and
We have a poster making contest. Lourez
Balucan and Kien mart Dominisac were
the emcees. Aprilen Conception, Jeany
Mae Bustaliño and me, we discussed
about mental health, importance of
mental health awareness and we provide
encouragements and also Ma’am Theresa
Piamonte had messaged.

We ranked the winners of the

poster making contest and we gave
them certificates. We did this program
because it will help the other students
to take care their mental health and
spread awareness to the others so
that we can address the mental health
issues such as academic pressures.

Therefore, spreading mental health

awareness is important because it helps
the others to cure and strengthen their
mental health specially the ones who
suffering mental health illness such as
depression. And also, we must socialize, help and support each other so that
we can create or build a better community.

FEEDING PROGRAM

On Jan. 31, 2024, we have a

feeding program Activity for the
junior high school malnourished
students. We did it at Hyrons
College Philippines, Inc. and held at
the conference room with our sub.
teacher in CESC. We helped each
other to prepare the area and also
the healthy foods such as
vegetables (i.e., Malunggay, Okra,
Squash, Eggplant, String beans and
Monggos), rice and eggs.
Ate Pamela Legaspi volunteered to cook the vegetables soup and we
helped her too. It’s fun and we are grateful because the malnourished students
enjoyed the foods and they all participated. We did a great job for helping the
malnourished students to become healthy.
Therefore, we need to eat healthy foods every day and reduce eating
junk foods and other foods that causes illnesses so that our body will
become healthy.

TREE PLANTING
In the afternoon, we did the tree
planting activity at Dr. Wilma P. Hyrons'
rice field with our teachers, Sir Edwin,
Sir Epanto and Ma'am Theresa. We are
amazed because Dr. Wilma's Barn has so
many tools in farming and each one of
us gets our needs.

While we are planting our

teachers instructed and helped us to
plant properly. It’s fun that we've
enjoyed this activity and it helps us to
be attached with nature.

Therefore, we need to
plant more trees to avoid
typhoons and help our
nature. We must save our
mother earth.
