A Narrative Report on Earth Day Celebration

Bigaan NHS supports Environmental Protection

“We love to see green, and that Green thing. Covers us, shelters us, and most especially, it gives us
air to breathe, and life to see- and that’s the tree, We need to protect our environment”- Maam Janice N.
Olasiman.
Earth Day is an annual worldwide celebration that focuses on educating people about ecological
matters and hovering awareness of what can be done to marmalade our Mother earth.
On April 22, 202 Bigaan National High School Faculty and Staff headed by the ever-active School
head, Maam Janice N. Olasiman, together with the HRPTA and GPTA officers work hand in hand in
celebrating Earth Day.
The day started with a program that elucidated one and all the paybacks that they can get in
supporting and collaborating in that day. Everyone had lent their ears and attentions as they grasped the
importance of it. Everyone was very excited as maam Janice announced that they will be planting trees.
Prior to that, some of the parents who volunteered in making the tree Guards that will protect the seedlings
in any possible measures that may come that can cause the seedlings to die already prepared the venue for
the tree planting. After the program, all of the participants were divided, some of them cleaned the
surroundings, some were tasked to organize some of the areas and some were tasked for the tree planting
event. All of the participants agreed and enthusiastically did their corresponding tasks.
The Earth day celebration was a success. Everyone was contented and satisfied with a genuine smile
and a heart to help for the betterment of the community and for our Mother Earth. The day ended with
productively.
