ACTIVITY COMPLETION REPORT ON THE CONDUCT SLUMBER

I. Title of Activity
Slumber Party for School Year 2019-2020
II. Venue & Date
Tagnate Elementary School, Hilongos East District, Hilongos,
Leyte
October 29, 2019, at 8:00 o’clock in the morning up to 11:00
o’clock in the morning.
III. Summary
Slumber party embarks independence from parents and
self-advocacy, making and strengthening of the seven
domains of our kindergarten learners. It aims to enhance the
strategies of teachers in handling some co-curricular activities
appropriately for the development in the age level of the
kindergarten learners. It also promotes enjoyable and
engaging learning environment from their classmates and
teacher.
Ahead of time, the kindergarten parents were informed
about the activity. We conducted our HPTA meeting for this
activity, we spent time to gather in the school in preparing the
venue and some materials were brought by each one of us.
On October 29, 2019, Tuesday, we conducted in the school
the party for the learners they have participated, enjoyed
and bring home the learnings they gathered from it. As they
left the room, we can in their eyes the feelings of happiness
and satisfied of what they have experienced from the said
activity. First they were gathered outside the venue for clear
instructions. As they entered the room, we changed our
clothes to our sleeping wear. After that, we started our
opening prayer, conducted by our kindergarten pupils,
followed by the singing of nationalistic song. Right after one
of our guest gave her message. There were also four types of
presentation that they prepared and showcased to us. Then
we performed the proper ways of washing hands before
eating. We prayed altogether before we ate. Sharing of foods
to others were observed. Toothbrushing teeth after eating
were performed by the learners. Putting up there sleeping kit
for sleeping. Before sleeping, we had a story telling first in
which they were really interested and loved to hear once
more. We prayed first before going to bed. Sleeping time was
conducted. Praying after waking up was observed. Fixing
their sleeping kit after sleeping. Then we also have games that
enhance their value of sportsmanship and acceptance. Right
after all the activities conducted, the feelings of happiness
and enjoyment of the party were seen in their eyes. This
activity taught learners to be independent in the caring and
fixing themselves.
IV. Actual Result/Outcome
The Slumber Party was successfully undertaken and the
objectives for the conduct of the said activity was attained.
V. Problems Encountered, if any
There are some parents of the learners who do not support
their child for the materials used for the activity.
VI. Lesson Learned
If we love our job, we do all things for the benefits of our
learners’ sake.
VII. Sustainability/ Replicability
Slumber Party shall become a regular activity to be
conducted on the start of the school year for them to
experienced and put on mind to be independent from their
parents in some simple chores like wearing their sleeping wear
or clothes and etc..

Executive Summary

Objectives The activity embarks independence from parents and


self-advocacy, making and strengthening of the seven
domains of our kindergarten learners. It aims to enhance
the strategies of teachers in handling some co-curricular
activities appropriately for the development in the age
level of the kindergarten learners. It also promotes
enjoyable and engaging learning environment from their
classmates and teacher.

Key Results  Participants will able to change their sleeping wear


by themselves and try to fold their clothes by their
own.
 Participants will be able to show their talent and
build self-confidence during their presentations.
 Proper handwashing and toothbrushing were
performed by themselves during the activity.
 Participants were able to show their value of sharing
to others during their snacktime.
 Participants will able to enhance the value of
strengthening friendship and learning valuable self-
help in putting up and fixing their sleeping kits.
 Communication and listening skill were observed
during story time.
 Enjoyable of the activity were observed after the
undertaken of the activity.
Resources and Sleeping mat, pillow, blanket, toy stuff, pencils, scissors,

laptop, projector, speakers, lights, cloths, foils, pins, water,
cookies and biscuits for their snacks
Issues The problem encountered during the activity was there

was a guardian of the learner who do not support their child
for the materials used for the activity that leads to the
delayed for a while of the opening part of the activity.
Recommendation This shall become a regular activity to be conducted on
the start of the school year for them to experienced and put
on mind to be independent from their parents in some
simple chores like wearing their sleeping wear or clothes
and many others. The accomplishment of this activity was
by the strong relation of the parents’ cooperation,
teamwork and management towards its success.
