Qualitative research

Qualitative research is research that tries to gain

and analyse descriptive data in order to have an
idea of peoples believes, attitudes and more.

Quantitative research

Quantitative research is research that focuses on the

amount of
data

Primary research

Primary research is data in which has never been

collected before therefore they find out for themselves

Secondary research

Secondary research is research that has been done

before and can be found on things such as google

I used primary research when I made my nightmare on

elm street poster I uploaded it to teams and asked
people to state their opinions on it so I could tweak it
later on.
I used secondary research a lot, such as using all the
clips I needed as a reference, finding out facts about
the project I was doing and more.

I do not recall using contextual research in any of my

projects.

I used editing in my Horror film poster and in my scene

recreation however in my poster I used photoshop and
in my scene recreation I used premier pro

I used a storyboard to help guide us with how to

recreate the scene because it’s a lot easier than just
looking at the clip over and over again

I had a script telling us how to take the camera shots

because it is once again easier than watching the clip

I used foley to add sound back into several clips and

made my own sounds as well as sounds from online

I used video editing in the scene recreation to finalise

the clip because it smoothenes it out and syncs the
time up
I used photoshop
