Experiment No 2

Subject: Practical approving of Ohms low.

Name: Mohamed Ibrahim Salih.

Number: 3217109
The purpose of experiment :
Is to demonstrate the liner ship between voltage applied
across a resistor and the current passes through it.
Resistors are used in many types of electronics and
electrical circuit to control current flow.
Ohms law stats that the current passing through a
conductor is proportional to the voltage across the
resistance.
Materials required:
 system frame
 power manifold
 services module 60-200
 multi meter

Test circuit
Procedures

Assemble the units into the system frame, we are

using Services module 60-200.

1. set the 100 ohm variable resistor to the “0”

position.
2. Connect the circuit as showing in test circuit.
3. Switch on service module 60-200.
4. Use the variable resistor to set the current
through the 10 ohm resistor to 0.1A,read it
from the multi meter.
5. Record the readings from the voltage multi
meter across 10 ohm resistor on the table.
6. Repeat the steps for range of current 0.1 to
0.5A.
7. Replace the 10 ohm resistor with 15 ohm
resistor.
8. Repeat the same steps above, record your
reading in the table.
