Best Out Of Waste

Report

Motivated by sustainability and a desire to beautify our school environment, our student group
embarked on a series of creative projects utilizing recycled materials. During the festive season,
we transformed used newspaper and Christmas decorations into a whimsical snowman, adding a
touch of cheer to the school's décor.

Furthermore, our passion for art and craft extended beyond the classroom. Recognizing a need
for props in the school library's upcoming play of "Jungle Book," we repurposed online shopping
cardboard boxes into a majestic castle, fostering imaginative play and environmental awareness.

Our innovative spirit didn't stop there. We crafted comfortable beds for stray animals using
recycled tires, exemplifying compassion and resourcefulness. Additionally, we constructed bird
feeders from used muesli boxes and crafted nests with coconut shells and twigs, providing vital
sustenance and shelter for our feathered friends. Moreover, we consistently maintain bird feeders
around the school campus, ensuring their well-being throughout the year.

Through these initiatives, we not only displayed artistic ingenuity but also demonstrated a
commitment to environmental responsibility and community well-being. We believe our efforts
have instilled a sense of environmental consciousness within the school community and served
as a beacon of creativity and compassion.
