Purpose:

How does the speed of turning rotor

affect the production of electricity?

Hypothesis:

Amount of electricity made using magnet has a

direct relation with the speed of magnet or
moving magnetic field. The faster the rotor
spins, the more voltage must be produced. My
hypothesis is based on my observations of a
bicycle generator that loses its light when the
bicycle slows down.

Result:
This project demonstrates how spinning
magnets can generate electricity to light up a
bulb. The most interesting observation is that
the electricity generated is enough to light up a
bulb.

Procedure:

1.Stick a circle card board with the two waste CD

2.Make a hole at the circle cardboard .
3.Put the sketch pen at the hole with connecting
it with rectangular cardboard .
4.Make a hole at the CD use the superglue to stick
a wooden stick to the hole.
5.Connect the DC motor with wires and connect
them to the led.
6.Using the rubber band connect the two CD with
cardboard to the dc motor.
7. Spin the wooden stick ,to light the led.
Abstract:

In this project we will successfully build an electric

generator that really works. Our electric generator
will produce enough electricity to light up a light
bulb or an LED lamp. We will spin the axle rod and
show the light to others.
After we construct a working electric generator, we
may study how different factors affect the
production of electricity in a generator. In this
project we will perform experiments to find out
“How does the speed of a turning rotor affect the
production of electricity?”.
