The Division Schools Press Conference 2023 held at Granja, Kalinawan National High
School on May 16-17, 2023, stands as a testament to the dedication and talent of young writers from
across the division. As the host of this prestigious event, Granja, Kalinawan NHS welcomed
participants from various schools, including Sulpa National High School, who eagerly showcased
their journalistic skills and competed in a series of challenging competitions.

Months of meticulous planning and coordination preceded the Division Schools Press
Conference, with Granja, Kalinawan NHS leaving no stone unturned in ensuring the event's success.
The school's faculty and staff worked tirelessly to prepare the venue, organize competition venues,
and arrange accommodations for participants and guests.

As the event unfolded, a palpable sense of anticipation filled the air as participants from Sulpa
National High School and other schools arrived at Granja, Kalinawan NHS. They were greeted with
warmth and hospitality by the organizing committee, who ensured that they felt at home amidst the
picturesque surroundings of Jaro, Leyte.

The Division Schools Press Conference kicked off with an opening ceremony that captured
the essence of camaraderie and sportsmanship. Participants then dispersed into various competition
venues, where they put their journalistic skills to the test in categories such as news writing, feature
writing, editorial writing, and photojournalism.

Sulpa National High School sent a talented delegation of young writers, eager to showcase
their abilities and represent their school with pride. Throughout the conference, students from Sulpa
National High School displayed exemplary talent and creativity, earning praise from judges and
fellow participants alike for their insightful articles and captivating photographs.

In addition to the competitive aspect, the Division Schools Press Conference provided a
platform for networking and collaboration among participants. Students from different schools had
the opportunity to exchange ideas, share experiences, and build lasting friendships, fostering a
sense of unity and camaraderie within the division's journalistic community.

As the event drew to a close, participants gathered once again for the closing ceremony and
awards presentation. The air was filled with excitement and anticipation as the names of winners
were announced, recognizing their outstanding achievements and contributions to the field of
journalism. While not everyone could claim victory, all participants departed with a sense of pride in
