NARRATIVE REPORT ON THE CONDUCT OF PARTNERS IN CRIMES
(INTERVENTION ACTIVITIES TO IDENTIFIED LEARNERS OF SFNHS)
(October 7, 2022, 9:00-11:30 AM)

Santa Fe National High School, in an effort to develop a genuine love of reading

and enhance the reading abilities of the students, conducted its Reading
Program, Partners in CRIMES (Cooperative Reading: Improved Minds, Efficient
Students) to the selected beneficiaries of students from Grades 7-12. The
project will identify the target beneficiaries through the use of Phil-IRI.
Students who scored low or are under the Frustration Level on their Group
Screening Test (GST) and Oral Reading Test are the target beneficiaries of this
project.

Through the initiative of the English and MAPEH Departments with the help of
the student-leaders of different school organizations and the Brgy. Official of
Villaflores, the Reading program was first conducted to the identified students
from Brgy. Villaflores on October 7, 2022 at the Brgy. Hall from 9:00 until
11:30 in the morning. Ms. Gliufani D. Talapi, School’s Reading Coordinator,
initiated the activity with the permission of the Mr. Ronaldo G. James, School
Principal.

This reading project aims to:

1. improve the reading skills of learners across all subject areas;

2. systematize the reading process and ensure a systematic approach to

bridge gaps in learning of students at risk;

3. improve the level of performance of students across all subjects by

improving their reading skills; and

 4. help students acquire the skills and knowledge they need to read

grade-level text fluently and with good comprehension.

The reading program ended at 11:30 in the morning.
