VI. OBJECTIVE/S: The objective of the said training-workshop is to capacitate

participants on the necessary Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes
(KSA) in providing Muslim learners with appropriate and
relevant educational opportunities while recognizing their
cultural context and unique purpose for participating in the
program; and in integrating content and competencies which are
relevant and of interest to Muslim learners.

X. DESCRIPTION/
RATIONALE: The Department of Education aims to provide quality
education and making sure that no one is left behind. The
Madrasah Education Program (MEP) is one of the programs of
Department of Education that caters our Muslim learners. It
aims to provide appropriate and relevant educational
opportunities within the context of Muslim culture, customs
traditions and interests through the integration of the Arabic
Language and Islamic Values Education.

In line with this, the Schools of Division of Gapan City

through the Curriculum Implementation Division issued Schools
Division Memorandum no. 553, s. 2022 which is the Division

Training-Workshop on the Policy Guidelines on Madrasah
Education in the K to 12 Basic Education Program for the New
Implementing Schools of Arabic Language and Islamic Values
Education (ALIVE) Program. This aims to capacitate participants
on the necessary Knowledge, Skills and Attitudes (KSA) in
providing Muslim learners with appropriate and relevant
educational opportunities while recognizing their cultural
context and unique purpose for participating in the program;
and in integrating content and competencies which are relevant
and of interest to Muslim learners.

Thus, our school acknowledge the importance of being

knowledgeable in MEP, ALIVE and our Asatidz. That’s why the
conduct of this school-based training-workshop is indeed
relevant and beneficial to everyone.
