rocker arms, spring gears, nuts, pins, or connecting rods.
• Suspect TBN decrease due to overheating, additive depletion, or extended drain
intervals. Verify TBN decrease with oxidation, nitration, and sulfation increase.
Actions:
• Change oil with approved lubricant.
• Investigate equipment urgently.
