RATE ANALYSIS

DEFINITION
“ The determination of rate per unit of a particular Item of Work,
From the cost of Quantity of Material, the cost of Labour, cost
of Machinery and other misc. petty expense required for its
complete execution as per specification is known as analysis of
Rate.

RATE ANALYSIS DEPENDS ON…

• Specification of works and material, quantity of Material, Method of
construction and operation.
• Quantities of materials and their rates, number of Different Type of
Labour and Machinary and their Rate.
• Location of site of work and its distance from the source of
materials and the rates of transport, and availability of water etc.
• Profit, miscellaneous expenses of contractor
