1 Display and Key Arrangement

7.1 Single ( keys 341) The service tool front panel consists of a display with 2 lines, 16 characters per line, and 16
keys.

SHIFT & 5:
to unlock the DCSS if it stays in locked mode caused by a fatal error (failed interface check
or motor protection). Another way to unlock the system is to power off/on.
6.3 Parameter Setup - Field - (key 333)
( DCSS 5 offers two profile sets each containing a normal opening, a normal closing and Ini
profiles. Standard is profile set 1. The second profile set is used only on elevator controller
request.

The menu Field is a container for parameters related to both profile sets which could be
touched in order to adapt the door performance on the expectation of the customer. For
example modify opening and closing times, creep speeds etc..

The parameter input is checked to a certain degree by the DCSS before it is overwritten by
a new value. During the parameter entering the value is checked against the upper and
lower limit. If the parameter exceeds this limit, the max allowed value will be set instead.

parameter. Take attention that the OCSS is in Service Mode (TCI is set to Inspection).

6.2 First Installation Profile 2 (key 332)

If the main controller supports a second speed profile, the OCSS 5 has to perform an Tools=4
additional Installation Run for the second profile. The procedure to determine the profile
and torque parameter is exactly the same as for the first profile, with exception of not
having a configuration setup and bypassing the step 1, 2 and 3 of the automatic installation
run. The condition to start the 2nd.-Profile Installation is a successful Setup with profile 1. (

3.S SET Operations


Step 4: Learn Inspection Torques:
All operations are described in the following paragraphs. DeSS 5 opens the door with inspection speed and finds the minimum torque necessary to
open the door completely. In case that the tracking behavior is out of a tolerable range, the

This step is performed only if the locking segment is required by the selected door type. For
the D0200-2 door system the Lock Distance is hard coded and must not be learned. Description of the first status display line:
The DCSS 5 learns the locking distance and the torque necessary to open and close the mmmm DCSS mode

mode by switching TCI to inspection. An active TES signal or losing TCI interrupts
immediately any setup action.

Prior to a successfuilNST1 installation the DCSS5 operates in a reduced mode e.g. the
door is running with low speed only.

4.3 Output Status Display (keys: 313) A parameter is stored permanently in the Flash memory not before the menu is left with one
of the function key (Module, Function or Set).

This set is used to display the actual system state and the discrete outputs.
6.1 First Installation Profile 1 (key 331)

This function starts a long interface check-sequence to test the discrete 3-wire interface. Use this feature if any
communication problem between DCSS and LCBIIITCB occurs. Be attention, that the TCI switch is set, otherwise the

or motor protection). Another way to unlock the system is to power off/on.
6.3 Parameter Setup - Field - (key 333)
( DCSS 5 offers two profile sets each containing a normal opening, a normal closing and Ini
profiles. Standard is profile set 1. The second profile set is used only on elevator controller
request.

The menu Field is a container for parameters related to both profile sets which could be
touched in order to adapt the door performance on the expectation of the customer. For
example modify opening and closing times, creep speeds etc..

The parameter input is checked to a certain degree by the DCSS before it is overwritten by
a new value. During the parameter entering the value is checked against the upper and
lower limit. If the parameter exceeds this limit, the max allowed value will be set instead.

1 Display and Key Arrangement

7.1 Single ( keys 341) The service tool front panel consists of a display with 2 lines, 16 characters per line, and 16
keys.

RevCls: commands the door to close but Reversal devices are enabled (

Switching to another menu does not interrupt the door movement. Parameter modification
stops immediately the single run.
