Table 1: Identified Reason for Struggles of Computer Engineering Students

The causes of difficulties faced by first-year computer engineering students are presented in Table
1. "Time Management Challenges" and "Limited Prior Programming Exposure" are common, impacting six
students each. The influence on six pupils of "Stress and Emotional Well-Being" is particularly remarkable.
On the other hand, fewer students mention problems with "Technology Access" and "Programming
Language Familiarity" (2 and 3, respectively). This information identifies important areas where focused
assistance could improve the computer engineering freshmen experience.
Figure 1: Qualitative Overview of Struggles Among Computer Engineering Freshmen

This figure offers a qualitative overview of the difficulties encountered by first-year computer
engineering students, broken down into different categories. Rather of focusing on precise numerical
counts, the qualitative statements seek to convey the dominant trends. The themes of "Limited Prior
Programming Exposure," "Complexity of Curriculum," and "Stress and Emotional Well-Being" are
noteworthy obstacles to overcome. With regard to study materials, time management, support networks,
and other aspects, the figure illustrates the diversity of experiences among first-year students and provides
insights into the complex terrain of their academic path.

Conclusion

In conclusion, the data presented underscores the diverse challenges faced by computer
engineering freshmen. While issues such as limited prior programming exposure, time management
challenges, and stress-related concerns are prevalent among the students surveyed, there is variability in
the reported frequencies for other challenges like technology access and programming language familiarity.
Recognizing these challenges provides valuable insights for educational institutions to tailor support
mechanisms, interventions, and resources to address the specific needs of computer engineering
freshmen, ultimately enhancing their overall academic experience and well-being.

Table 1: Enrollment and Pass Rates Analysis of the National Service Training Program (NSTP) Across
Academic Years and Semesters (2012-2015)

The National Service Training Program (NSTP) enrollment and pass rate statistics for various
academic years and semesters are shown in the table. In both the first and second semesters, the data is
shown as the number of registrants and the corresponding number of passers.

Conclusion

The tabular data showcases the enrollment and pass rates for the National Service Training Program
(NSTP) during the first and second semesters of the academic years 2012–2013 and 2014–2015. While the
accompanying pass rates show the results of students' engagement with the NSTP, the enrollment figures
during this period show fluctuations in student participation.

Trends throughout time can provide information about the program's popularity and general efficacy among
students. Considerable variations in enrolment or pass rates could necessitate additional research on the
elements affecting student involvement. Furthermore, the information could be used to improve program
participation and success rates by fine-tuning techniques.

Finally, the data provided provides a quantitative summary of the dynamics of the NSTP, laying the
groundwork for deliberations and choices about the continuous enhancement and development of the
National Service Training Program.
