Read the theoretical guide of the driving system and according to the pre-knowledge acquired in the class and
through previous research, consolidate what you have learned by developing the following questionnaire.

1. The following diagram shows the nodes and the different bundles of the conduction system; determine the
sequence of the nerve impulse of the conduction system in the heart accordingly.

The sinus node or sinoatrial node, located in the wall of the right atrium, below the mouth of the
superior vena cava. Each action potential generated in this node propagates to the myocardial
fibers of the atria. The atrioventricular (AV) node is located in the interatrial septum; the impulses
from the cardiac muscle fibers of both atria converge in the AV node, which It distributes to the
ventricles through the bundle of His or atrioventricular fasciculus, which is the only electrical
connection between the atria and the ventricles. In the rest of the heart, the fibrous skeleton
electrically insulates the atria from the ventricles. The atrioventricular fascicle heads toward the
muscular portion of the interventricular septum and divides into its right and left bundle branches,
which continue through the interventricular septum. in the direction of the cardiac apex and are
distributed throughout the entire ventricular musculature. Finally, the Purkinje fibers rapidly
conduct the action potential throughout the entire ventricular myocardium.

2. Aberrant conduction bundles are blockages of the right or left branches of the bundle of Hiss or Purkinje branches in the
interventricular area; by means of a graph, recreate them and list them respectively.
3. Graph the waves of an EKG and determine the depolarization and repolarization of the cardiac cell;
determine which waves are generated in the electrocardiogram when atrial repolarization, atrial
depolarization, ventricular repolarization and ventricular depolarization are present, respectively.
