The Materials: The Stitches:
•The Yarn (Worsted Weight) - Ch : Chain stitch
- Main color - St : Stitch
- Secondary color (Spines) - Sl.st : Slip Stitch
•Size G6/4.00mm Hook - Sc : Single Crochet
•Plastic Saftey Bead Eyes (8mm+) - Dec/Inc : Decrease/Increase
•Stuffing - InvDec : Invisible Decrease
•Needle - BLO : Back Loops Only
•3 - 5 Nickles (for adding weight)

Worked in the round


Gauge : 5 Rnds and 4 sts per 1”
Finished piece is about 3” tall

(01:21) Spines (make 6):


[All in Secondary color]
Ch 3, Working in the BLO of the 3rd ch from
the hook, hdc 1

Ch 1, cut the yarn and pull through to sew


along the neck and back.

Ch 2 or use the magic loop method

Rnd 1: Work 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook or into magic loop (6)

Rnd 2: Working in BLO, sc in each st around (6)

Rnd 3: sc in each st around (6)

Rnd 4: sc 1, sl.st 1, cut the yarn leaving a long end for sewing onto the piece

Neck (continuing from the Head):

(14:04) Rnd 10 - 12: invdec, sc 3, inc, sc 2 (8 x 3)

(16:01) Stuff head, use a stick or pencil to get to hard to reach areas.

(21:13) Fold a pipe cleaner in half and twist. Stuff the pipe cleaner into the neck and
use it to shape it. Stuff the neck thoroughly with a small stick.

(24:08) Sew on 3 of the spines along the head and neck.

(32:03) Rnd 23 - 29: sc in each st (21 x 6)

(37:44) Sew on legs onto the bottom of the body and three spines along the back.

Stuff thoroughly. Add in a few nickles into the belly to insure that it doesn’t tip over
from the weight of the head.

Finish stuffing.

Cut the yarn and pull through. Sew the end together.
Feed 1 brocoli per day. Keep out of reach from T-Rexes.
