You've purchased this pattern and it means that you are


ready to dive into the magic world of amigurumi.
To create your own miracle you only need to find the
cosiest place in your house, take a cup of aroma coffee or
tea, crochet hook, magic balls of yarn and the most
wonderful mood! I'm sure you'll make something unique.

Materials:
1. For light color giraffe: YarnArt Jeans
55% cotton/45% PAC, 50g/160 mt
(1.76 oz/174 yds) №88 yellow, 1 skein,
№48 beige, 1/3 skein, №03 milk, a
little bit. For dark color giraffe:
YarnArt Jeans №84 mustard, 1 skein,
№ 40 brown, 1/3 skein, №03 milk, a
little bit. YarnArt Jeans Plus 55%
Cotton 45% PAC, 100 g/160 m (3.5
oz/174 yds) №05 cream, for scarf.
2. Hook size 2 mm, 3 (for scarf)
3. Fiber filling.
4. Safety plastic eyes diameter 10 mm.
5. Embroidery floss black and white
colors for embroidering eyes and
nose.

Size of the finished toy is 20 x 14 cm/

Legs + body:
First we will crochet 4 legs. Start
working with brown color yarn:
R1: 6 sc in MR
R2: 6 inc (12)
R3: (3 sc, inc) х 3 (15)
R4: BLO 15 sc
R5-7 (3 rounds): 15 sc
Change yarn color to yellow and
continue to crochet.
R8-12 (5 rounds): 15 sc
Cut the yarn in the end of
crocheting each leg.
Crochet body with yellow color yarn.
R1: Make a chain of 17, start to crochet from the 2nd ch from the hook: sc
inc, 14 sc, 4 sc into the last chain. Turn can continue to crochet on the
other side of the beginning chain: 14 sc, inc (36)

Beginning from the next stitch

R7-11 (5 rounds): 42 sc the yarn and hide yarn tail

Sculpt the eye sockets according to the instructions below. Use the
same yarn color as for the head. Make eye whites following that
instructions as well, only use white color yarn.
Insert the needle with the yarn at point
A, pull it out at point B, insert at point C,
pull it out at point E, tighten it so that
the yarn is hidden, then insert at point F,
pull it out at point D and tighten it to
the desired shape. Then tie the ends of
the yarn at points D and A.

Embroider eyelashes with black


embroidery floss.
Muzzle:
Crochet with milk color yarn.
R1: 6 sc in MR
R2: 6 inc (12)
R3: (1 sc, inc) х 6 (18)
R4: (2 sc, inc) х 6 (24)
R5-7 (3 rounds): 24 sc
Cut the yarn leaving a tail for
sewing. Stuff with fiber.

Secure muzzle with pins to the


head and sew it.
Embroider the nostrils on the giraffe's muzzle.

Horns:
Start to crochet with brown
color yarn.
R1: 6 sc in MR
R2: 6 inc (12)
R3-5 (3 rounds): 12 sc
R6: 6 dec (6)
Change yarn color to yellow and
continue to crochet.
R7-10 (4 rounds): 6 sc
Cut the yarn and leave a long tail for sewing. Stuff with fiber. Make 2
details.
Secure with pins to the head and sew them.
Ears:
Crochet with yellow color yarn.
R1: 6 sc in MR
R2: 6 inc (12)
R3: 12 sc
R4: (1 sc, inc) х 6 (18)
R5-9 (5 rounds): 18 sc
ch 1 and crochet edges of the
ear together with 9 sc
Cut the yarn. Leave a long tail
for sewing. Don't stuff the ears.
Make 2 details.
Fold ears and make 2-3 stitches with needle. Secure with pins to the
head and sew on the sides near the horns.
Next sew head to the body.
Tail:
Start to crochet with brown color
yarn.
R1: 6 sc in MR
R2: (1 sc, inc) х 3 (9)
R3-5 (3 rounds): 9 sc
R6: (1 sc, dec) х 3 (6)
Change yarn color to yellow.
R7-14 (8 rounds): 6 sc
ch 1, crochet edges of the detail
together with 3 sc

Cut the yarn. Leave long tail for sewing. Stuff only brown part.
Secure tail to the body with pins and sew it.
Scarf:
Crochet scarf with YarnArt Jeans Plus, hook size 3 mm.
Make a chain of 70 (your quantity of chains may vary depending on
your toy's neck circumference, you need to try it on your toy)
R1-4: ch 1, BLO 70 sc.

Put it on the giraffe and sew the


ends together.
Spots:
Crochet with brown color yarn.
For big spot:
R1: 6 sc in MR
R2: 6 inc (12)
sl st into the first st, cut the yarn.
For small spots (2 pcs):
R1: 6 sc in MR
sl st into the first st, cut the yarn.

Attach spots to the body and sew.
